account was hacked then i got it back but turns out they were using a third party app and it got suspended. I got the acc back due to changing password and email but they won’t un-suspend me even tho i bought summoner sigil and the battle pass and have no value. The funny part is they won’t refund me for it and are know leaving me on sent and not responding to my emails. what should i do, j wanted to bring this to light about how lame they are ( i’ve been playing since 2016 and have spent hundreds of dollars)
If account is perma ban, raise support request for refund giving whatever reason to Google or apple support for all payments done ever. (Not sure u will get all back though)Create new account, be cautious and don't mod and keep credentials safe . Good luck
Additionally, it is high time kabam introduce basic security features like MFA to all logins, in-game and websites. They are introducing web store payments, these checks should be basic stuff

Or don't share your login information with others.

Yeah but wasn't that because he accidentally showed his email or something like that? I remember it happening but I thought it was because they got part of it from a livestream he was doing or something.
You know how you can get your email and password reset, but it requires contacting support and answering questions that only someone who played the game account would know? Like exactly when you created the account, the first few purchases on the account if any, what was your general location when you created the account, etc?
Only someone who had created and played the account from the very beginning would know all that stuff. Or, say, someone who was watching the player do all those things. But who could possibly have known exactly when Seatin made that account, and where he was when he made it, and the fact that he made no purchases since it was created?

well was in the process of changing my email and password but i mean if they could do that i’m sure they would see a login that’s not me. I had rewards for arenas and i know for a fact i didn’t touch arenas and that’s about it and some minor story progression.
Wait a minute, someone hacked into your account, played arenas for you and clear content for you. This hacker is an angel sent from above I see. Seems sus to me. I didn't know hackers were so nice, otherwise I would have hire one.

I never advise this. People think they can do this kind of stuff with impunity, because at the moment they usually can, but things change and one day when people aren't paying close attention they are going to find that this sort of abusive refund request will get them into serious hot water. It is super rare, but every once in a while someone will do the wrong thing at the wrong time and draw the attention of the wrong person. And then they can get permanently kicked off of platforms, get strikes on their credit reporting, and all sorts of other fun stuff that make getting perma banned from a mobile game look like a fun time at the beach.
What I tell people is this: if you do this and you happen to be the one in a million that gets hit by lightning, you won't get any sympathy from me. And I say this as someone who has in the past worked with the credit card networks, and seen Mjolnir in action.

In general I would agree, although I wouldn't say MFA is a "basic security feature" in practical terms. There are a lot of complications to rolling out something like that, and especially in a mobile game environment where you're starting from zero. In most corporate environments and even in most customer facing environments, you at least know who your customers are. Most mobile game operators don't, because customer identity is something that is traditionally not collected or tracked except where absolutely necessary, and something the app store operators themselves have traditionally discouraged collecting. Bootstrapping MFA registration and operation in such an environment is not a trivial exercise, especially for an organization that traditionally lacks the infrastructure to support it in the first place.
Plus, most of the entities taking credit for implementing MFA are still using SMS. Ten years ago everyone was saying please, at least use SMS (well, not everyone: I wasn't). Now everyone is saying oh god you're using SMS? Its all basic stuff until you get to the nitty gritty details.
whatever your story is, No matter who you are, just please dont lie about being hacked and admit mistakes were made. This is just advice for whoever needs it, including OP
