I was thinking if everyone picks Maw from the selector, it's no fun. When there are legends there needs to be a legend killer.
I used Maw, Emma and Sam Wilson in many fights today. I had the most fun with Sam Wilson.
Among 7* i don't find the current tech champs that appealing compared to other classes. I have Raccoon, Racoon needs awakening to stop regen, Warlock might take time for me to get, i already have R4 6* Warlock. Gully2099 is good to have. Shuri doesn't counter the mutants i would hope her to. Rest are cool but not on my wishlist.
Sam Wilson can block unblockables and parry non contact attacks. His sp1 blocks regen. That's good enough for me. I tested my 5* and he does well against the likes of Bishop, Havok, Sauran, Toad, Storm. He can do non contact parries making it easier to play Domino and Maw. Plus he is non metal as well. He counters hard knock life node ability as well is current BG ability. He has many other utilities as well and works well on defense also. He pairs well with my 7* Falcon, i see them as twins.
So i will go with the captain. And counter the many maws i will see soon in BGs and be the needed legend killer.

But Sam was higher up on my list of champs I'd want
Maw might be interesting for BG purposes but I'm honestly not the biggest fan of those
And the thing with Emma is that she's almost harder to fight unduped nowadays because it's become muscle memory for people to reverse their inputs, so might go with her since she has some interesting offensive capabilities too if I remember right!
