Where are you getting all the catalysts for 7* rank ups?

I'm a relatively new paragon player, and I just got my 9th 7* champ. I have a bunch of 6*r4s, but no 6*r5s yet.
During the battlegrounds season, I've noticed that a lot of people already have 7*r2 champs, and the "valiant" title is reserved for people who have a couple 7*r3s. But where are you getting the catalysts to do these rankups?
In all the time I have been playing, I don't yet have 3 t6cc in any class, let alone the 4 I would need for a 7*r2 rank up. Additionally, I think I'm getting about one t3a/t6b every week or two, so it seems like it's going to take me a couple of months to collect 7 of each.
I generally beat EQ on cav & thronebreaker, and complete the paragon gauntlet. I'm also nearly done exploring 8.3, which will help with some rank-up stones. But I'm just wondering: is there some source of these high-level catalysts that I'm missing? How are you folks ranking up so many 7* champs?

People will claim its the wallet but the only thing I've bought this year is the Plat pass for Morbius.
I buy 10 t6cc crystals from the Glory and BG store each week, and sometimes the selector. I also just do all content available for Paragons that provide it (Act 8, EQ, SQ) and have slowly accumulated it.
We'll probably see some R3 gems or crystals for placing super high in solo milestones for the Banquet, and maybe small amounts of T4A in the Banquet crystals (similar to T6CC in last years).
I don't except the R3 flood gates to open too much before 8.4 but that's just my guess. July 4th will probably rain R3s from the sky like last year did with R5s if you spend a bunch of money, though.
Just my guess tho based on how they've done things previously, tho they've been burning through the 7 stars life cycle so fast who knows.
