Future Antman experts needed

On this new BG season (Victory track) I had an interaction that I did not understand. I was playing against Future Antman and for some reason every time I pressed to activate the striker I would get a passive stun. After the stun expired I would still have the striker active and if I tried to press again I would again get passive stunned. Is there an interaction with the nodes or something in Future Antmans kit that would explain this, because I am lost as to what caused it?

    Are you using a combo ender before triggering the striker?

    The first time I did do a 5 hit combo, but the second, third and fourth times I was trying to just use the striker mid and even at the start of a combo.

    The one that stuck with me was the one where I was against the wall and just trying to use the striker to start a combo, but every time I pressed the striker button I would get stunned. I know you can get stunned if he glances a combo ender, but this was happening whenever I tried to activate the striker, at the end, middle or start of a combo. Could it be a bug that causes the game to consider the striker as a combo ender?

    Was he in surging swarm (5+ armors)? If so, if your combo ender glances then you get a passive stun. That happens no matter how long your combo is, though it probably shouldn't let you activate the striker if that's the case.

    This happened to me as well but not against Future Antman. It was against NF. I was using Bishop and got stunned after activating striker.

    It's a strange interaction for some reason launching the striker after a combo ender causes the stun as it's meant to but after that every striker causes a stun during a combo or not. Or at least that's how it happened to me last season.

    I think it is like u are getting parried when using a striker. Is that possible?

    If he has 5+ armors and you do a 5 hit combo against him, you'll get a stun on you.
    But since you activate your striker immediately after combo it triggers before the stun and you get stun after the striker

    Yes! This is it. A bug then?
