So I actually wrote and posted this portential solution over yesterday, but for whatever reason it didn't appeared. I wasn’t going not bother the rewrite the whole thing (which took me a long time the first time round), as I realised I have spent more time reading/watching/writing on this issue than playing the game 🤣.
However I noticed so many players mentioned this as one of the main issue with the challenges (even CCP in their YT) that I thought I will try again.
So from what hear/read from players (again including CCP), the one of the main hurdle with these challenges is the ranking material required to ranking champion that they normally would not want to rank (this is even a bigger pill to shallow, since some of these champions are already available as 7*, but players might have to rank up their 6* since awaken abilities are so important (eg Mojo). I think I read one of
@Karatemike415 reply mentioning on hindsight including Rank Up materials might have been a good idea (do correct me if I'm wrong)

SolutionAdd - New Carina Solo Objective
Complete 2 Challenges - Rewards = 4 x R4 Rank Up materials (this is R3 to R4).
Reasoning Why R4 - Why some might want R5 and other might say R3 will do, I think R4 would be a good balance in between.
Why 4 x R4 - Again some might need more, some might think less, 4 might not be enough to cover all the champs you need to rank up for this challenge, but again trying to find the balance in between.
Why 2 Challenges - This might be the key part of the solution to reduce that amount of work for Kabam.
Based on this, Kabam will only have to manually send of this Rank Up materials to anyone who have done 5 or all 6 challenges, as they will have no chance to complete 2 "more" challenges. I would think that are only a handle full of players that have achieve this (MSD, Pepe and Nagase are the only ones I know so far, again correct me if I'm wrong). As

What about those that already done 1 to 4 challenges - So we will go with the idea that these rank up materials are only there to help and encourage players to encage with these challenges. Then there are only 2 scenarios
1) Those that done 1 or 2 challenges - Thry can use (or save up) their rank up material and rank up these champs, complete 2 more challenges, and they will get these material back in the form of rewards.
2) Those that already done 3 to 4 challenges - So again these players already used their own resources to rank champs up for these challenges, and if they already done 3 or 4 of these challenges in less of a week from when it is release, the high chance are they are planning to do the last 2 sometime in the near future, in case they will get these materials rewards when they done 2 more.
While I know this is not a perfect solution, it might be the most affective, with less work for Kabam, which mean a higher chance of implementation. This could be a win win solution for all.
Kabam - You give out a bit more rewards, but nothing game break, but it would encourage more participation, which mean more items use (revive and potion), and units spend.
CCP - More participation would mean your challenges would be a success, more players will be proudly using your Emoji that you designed with much love, instead of collecting dust next to Carina Challenges Vol 1
Players - A helping hand with Rank Up materials for you to push with these challenges.
Community - Less pain and maybe a bit more together.
I seen many comment along the line of "you don't have to do it", even
@Kabam Jax point out a number Carina challenges left untouch. I never believe this is a good reasoning, while not all contents are meant for everyone, but if contents left untouched by most players then it could seen as bad design and wasteful of Kabam and MCOC resources.
Hope this might be a decent enough solution to make these challenges more accessible for a bit more players than the 0.1%
