So, since the poll ended in a tie, that means that both of them will be reworked, right Kabam?

ETA: Just realized the poll isn't exactly over yet. But it's been 50/50 for hours now, so I can't imagine it'll change too much.

Doesnt it end on the 18th?

Yeah, I edited it like right before you commented. I assumed it was over because I saw a different post about it on Reddit but it wasn't until afterwards that I saw it was the 18th

Honestly it doesn’t matter to me who gets buffed, I got both these mfs as 6 stars that I’ve never leveled before. Hopefully one of these guys becomes a beast when they do the rework

    Just rework them both Kabam!

they should just buff both of them at this point, if there winds up being a winner they can get buffed first

Not like that would be twice as much work or anything

Not really focus one then once that buff is done and is planned for release work on the second so it doesnt take their time up or anything

It's literally an entire extra champion they would have to create, plus working out where to fit them in updates since the stories are written out a long time in advance. Plus they would have to figure out where to move champs that already planned for release in order to fit both of them in.

Is that supposed to be an answer? If you're talking about saga chase champions then this wouldn't work because this level of rework would be treated as a new champion release and not a traditional buff

Sagas have 1 rework meaning they can be a saga rework

Also its summoner choice just like new champs they be added just on a random month meaning it doesnt need to be connected

No, sagas have one buff not a rework. Superior Iron Man wasn't a rework, he was an overhaul. Nightcrawler wasn't a rework, he was a moderate buff, neither of them were treated as new champion releases. The summoners choice vote is for an iron man level rework as in building the character from the ground up

You're not getting my point. It's not just fitting them into a month, it's about when that month would be. They plan the stories for the updates months if not a year in advance, if they have to move champions around just to fit in an extra buff they would have to rewrite the story of the update, then figure out where to move the champion that they had to get rid of to fit in the new buff

You're quite literally not listening. The reworks aren't guaranteed to be coming with summoners choice champions, that's happened once and this year it's not happening. You're also ignoring the fact that it's not just 1 but 2 champions they would have to fit in to random updates which would knock another planned champ out of schedule. Please re read my comments before you say anything else because you're completely missing my point

Ur not listening as u clearly havent read the message the rework is literally summoner choice rework meaning its like summoner choice it will come whenever on a random month
I understand that but that doesn't actually mean anything in the context of the points in making.

Say this buff champion was called a, and he was planned to be released at the same time as champion b. They don't have much on common, but it doesn't matter because it's just a random month. Now imagine they decide to buff a second champion called c. They had only planned to buff 1 champion so had only left 1 champion space open next year for when this buff could drop, so have already planned 11 months of champions and stories.

If they more need to find a place to drop champion c, they would need to find a month in which there's a character that they can move to a new month later in the year or possibly even the year after. The issue is that most other months that aren't summoners choice months usually have much more connection between the 2 characters and the story of the month will be planned around that. You could switch one of those champions out with champion c, but then the champion you've swapped out will have to then be pushed off until they have a month where they could fit narratively, even if it's not the strongest connection, but this would then push another champion out of the lineup as well as requiring 2 months at least to have their stories reworked in order to remove references to the original planned champion.

This is ofcourse assuming that the work required to make the champion that the second buff pushed out of the schedule hadn't started, but if it had which is very likely it now means that the work that had already gone into modelling animation and champion kit design is essentially a waste of time and they have even less time to work on the second buff.

They've already said that when the summoners choice vote gets decided they literally start working on them immediately and there are designers who are essentially reserved to work on whoever wins, this doesn't account for a second champion buff at all.

Please read everything I'm saying because I really don't think you're getting the point I'm making
