I don't see any other posts about this, so maybe it's just me. Ever since the last update when the fancy events screen was introduced, this game is basically unplayable due to the severe lag. Am I alone in experiencing this? Really hard to play when in the middle of a fight it freezes for 2 seconds and your not sure what your supposed to do when it unfreezes.

You are not alone. Stuttering/freezing happens a lot. Especially when opponent does first time heavy or special. Sometimes right in the middle of my own combo. It is worse then ever since the recent update.
All we can do is post in the ios/android lag thread and get ignored. I usually just kill the app and stop playing…

You’re not alone. I was about to create a post on this as well. It’s unplayable for me as well. My device is iPad Pro 2020. What’s yours? I was in Mysterium 3 in BG and now down to Arcade 1. It’s my own mistake for thinking this time it won’t lag only to find it lag throughout the fight.

Lag seems to get worse the longer you stay in game. If I run incursions, I can get through 8-10 rooms before it starts to happen. I force close and then works fine for another 8-10 rounds. Same with arena or longer quests. I also play on an iPad. Started to notice with the previous update and then really bad with this recent one.

Love being mid combo … the screen lag starts….. and you just start holding block and praying it registers.

What’s the recommendation? Restart the game every 3rd fight?

Been having this lag issue for a long time now. Every single fight the game freezes up. During long fights it'll freeze for 9-14 seconds. Haven't touched any everest content because of this... the crucible either. Don't want to empty my resources because the game is broken. Been sitting out of Wars because the risks are too great. Sitting out of BGs because time alone hurts my fights. Please fix, Kabam... this is NOT the first post about this issue.

I’ve seen multiple threads about this lag issue ever since the august event dropped and it’s only gotten worse when the hot fix went into effect. Our alliance has had issues across iOS and android devices and a wide range of ages of the devices themselves from a few years old to brand new. What’s crazy is I’ve seen only a couple of responses to the forum threads and only a few YouTube videos that mention it in passing. There’s no way a ton of people aren’t running into it.
