**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Sentry- One of Earth's Strongest heroes. One of MCOC's weakest?

  • Kabam Miike said himself that they aren't buffing him anytime soon. Sadly.

Kabam mike said that the “team” will be discussing sentry soon, either they will discuss a buff or, they will say sentry has his niches and is good in long fights, which has the be the biggest joke ever.

I'm almost surprised they didn't come and shut this thread down.. Hope they don't.

Come on Kabam. Sentry is disappointing for who he is. 6 pages of complaint over here. 20 pages of complaint and frustration on his champion spotlight. :D

I have a R3 (5*) awakened Sentry. So I'm not joking around either. That disappointment hit me on the forehead point blank.. What I think he does need is for the % chances of his mode/state of mind increased from 30% to at least 50%+ or tie the % to his reality warps. Either is fine.. That's about it.

    Champion Spotlight about Sentry's "power":

With the power of a million exploding suns
    Overpowering Light
Sentry’s different States provide him with POWERFUL Unblockable Attacks

Late disclaimer about Sentry's "power" or lack thereof:

"...Not every Champion that is released is going to be as powerful as every other one"

We rarely read spotlights that hype about a champion's power.
Too bad it wasn't about power as we know it in mcoc.

A God like champion that was too powerful for the contest. Wrecked all but 3 of the original champions. That's pretty much what the Collector says in this month's EQ dialogue.

And he is so, so, so bad.

    lol, Kabam.

    Dear Kabam,

We're not asking for Sentry to be super powerful or amazing, just for him to be a decent, viable champ for niche uses, as you claimed he would be. At his current state, he is not even good for what you promised, which is for "long fights" and "niche" uses. He is not good for any kind of fight or situation. None. This is very sad.

He starts off weak, but with 5 warps and his state active, he still does not get that huge burst of power as was suggested. Storm can hit that hard with her specials, and hers is not dependent on 30% chance. And even for Storm, she is a decent champ, not a highly desired champ.

His states at 30% is very low. Numerically, it doesn't sound so bad, but in practice, it rarely procs. There are already many people that have fought WS and have videos that prove this. It feels like 5%, not 30%. This needs to be improved. And we've tried this fight after fight, not just a few isolated fights where we were unlucky. Why can't this percentage be improved when he doesn't really get that much of a damage boost even when the state is active?

I know there is a lot on the plate right now, and maybe the priority is to revisit older champs like Rulk and LC. I guess this is fair, but please consider Sentry in line for an adjustment. It wouldn't even require new mechanics or abilities, just the tweaking of a few numbers such as his attack and chance to proc states.

Judging by the flags, someone here really wants Sentry to stay bad. Or is just a bored 12 year old.
