Still got the mats from 9.1 to r3 one more 7*, I’m just sitting on them because I’m not 100% sold on anyone I have right now yet and I don’t feel like I’m missing out with one less r3. I’d definitely r3 Onslaught if I pulled him now, and any of Arcade, Attuma, or Negative would definitely be in heavy contention.
@Chuck_Finley@DrZola how good is ironman at r3. What kind of matches he can take besides bishop? How useful he is in bgs.
@captain_rogers - Thus far I have used Ironman primarily on defense. Obviously he will get nuked by a lot of cosmics but I have been surprised at how much time he chews up otherwise. I am also surprised how often he gets banned.
He is fine as an attacker. Can’t take him against armor break immune defenders. Obviously prowess champs make him way faster. He is just a tanky champ, can take a lot of block damage etc.
Now take all that with a grain of salt - I don’t play up in the higher ranks of GC. I tend to live contented in uru and accidentally touch Gamma occasionally. So your mileage may vary.
OG Ironman was my “fun” rank up. Got him duped and because he was my favorite champ, I took him to R3 just for fun. Probably will throw some more sigs on him cause his damage does in increase with higher sig.

Just a tanky champ. Surprising damage, handles a wide variety of fights but obviously excels in mutant matchups. Not the fastest in BGs, but that’s not my only consideration. He can take blocks and lose minimal health and with 12 armor ups (not hard to get) he packs a wallop.

I wound up choosing him before I awakened my Warlock, but I would have considered him for R3 regardless.
I've got 14 with two rank 2 to 3 gems sitting in my inventory. I think I'm saving one for Enchantress when I pull her. Not sure who to use the other gem on.
Personally I'm a pretty casual player who's pretty a pretty casual spender. Got 3 rn. I could have 6 but used my resources to bump up more champs to r2 which I feel like is still pretty competent enough for my rank/account strength.
I have 2 T4A in stash now so I'd have 4 pretty soon

Jax parting gift awakened my Guardian, which was terrific. Both he and Warlock are R2 and will both see R3 at some point.

I am a big fan of female characters in this game. Too bad I get mostly male characters as 7*.

Just ranked up my Venom after 9.1. I love that dude. I'm really happy that I have both him and Venompool up there.
