7R4 is coming, but it's also time for adding ascend-2?

After the cyber weekend, endgame players have 30-40 7R3, they nearly upgraded all the top-tier champions, you may run into all-7R3 match in battleground. At this point, almost everyone thinks 7R4 is coming, it may start to appear in the banquet event, a lot of people will have their first 7R4 in early next year.
Based on what we've seen in the last couple years, cadence of a new rank is 18 months, so it's impossible for players to get many 7R4 in the next 6 months, what can make them feel good besides having more and more second-tier 7R3? Ascend-2 is the answer!

Because today only handful 6-star champions are still useful for endgame players (a probably a dozen), and I do agree bringing those champions into 7-star pool may break the game again, so what Kabam can do is adding tier-3 primordial dust into the game and enabling ascend-2 for 6-start, people can be excited again by having 6R7 hulkling, CGR....

They disagreed because there's zero need for more ascension levels.
This means you have no idea about status of endgame players.

Fr, I’m running out of champs to ascend. I don’t spend either, so I can imagine the whales. I haven’t even bothered with eq last like 4 months.

There's never a reason to add more than one ascension level. Otherwise why release any new rarities at all? You could just keep adding ascension levels indefinitely. Keep them at level 1. Or never release anything higher than 7* take your pick. Can't have both.

Tbh to keep things relevant i can see them adding more ascensions but only after a few more ranks and materials since they wont just keep at t1 and t2 dust it will go most likely higher but not for a long time say r6 7s is when 6s will get level 2 ascension level when 8s happen is when 7s will get level 1 after 8s can go r3 etc if they ever do 8s that is in the future as plans can change and they do ascensions instead

I wonder if people just find ways to lose money in their free time? And I don't mean spending on guilty pleasure items.. i mean literally setting money on fire. Ascension dust was probably one of the biggest busts for Kabam as in money producing item (biggest was probably relics which is why its on pause), making a 2nd ascension level would be a complete waste of time and make the game even MORE free. Yes this is a pro profit company!!

Ok, I have 34 7r3, what can I expect in the next couple of months?
7r4? That will be too soon I don’t see it can happen
Another 3-4 7r3? Would be ok but I don’t really care

Ascend-2 doesn’t have to have the same stats as 7r3, it can be something between 7r2 and 7r3, getting resource for one ascend-2 champion in a couple of months will be something interesting to me.

Players can be wrong, see how boring the decay tactic is? This is what players voted out, silk just nukes everything.

Don’t expect 7* ascensions to come until r6 or r5 come out.

Your basically just saying you want to use 6* that are overpowered and will probably never be a 7* or higher. It's time to let them go. The meta has left them behind or close to it. It's time for the next round of champs to have the spotlight. It's how the game goes. Remember when blade was the best champ in game? Or ghost/quake? Hercules? They've all be phased out to a point of minimal use. It's inevitable.

You'll be safe to expect no changes and probably no R4s until next year.

If Ascension is so good why hasn’t Kabam released Ascension 2?

    Checkmate fanboys.

6 stars have been in the game and at least somewhat meta-viable since 2017. That is basically 70% of the game's lifetime. It is time to accept that their time is over. I highly doubt kabam wants to keep them alive any longer than they have already.

Whales (a very small percentage of the player base) have 30-40 r3’s most endgame players probably don't have more than 10
