I'd go for Kate. She will get you through a lot of content.

5 stars are still viable for act 7, so Herc can still be useful
I’d say focus on Torch, Rintrah, Mole Man, etc for now. Spiral is good but her rotation is a bit complex
Just pulled 6* BWCV. Hear she’s amazing but is she complicated to play and does she need the dupe? I’m pretty much out of gold and iso to get her ranked up quickly.
OS is very good, and she's not hard to play...she's just hard to reach max damage because her debuffs fall off quickly.
But for questing, that detail really doesn't matter. As a questing champ, OS is amazing because she turns all the biohazard-style nodes (ones that give you bleed and poison on hit) from health drains into a constant source of healing. Also, since you don't have a time limit and you're constantly healing on these fights, you can take the necessary time to ramp up her damage more slowly.
All you have to do with her is build to an SP2 and then keep using either heavies or MLLLL combos to keep the incinerates paused. Build back up to an SP2, apply more incinerates, keep em paused. If you can "catch" a couple of her non-damaging debuffs on the defender when you throw that SP2, the incinerates will build faster. But honestly, it's not critical when questing, because you've got time.
Looks like I’ll have my first 6* awakening gem coming my way soon, I have 2 options right at the top of my list. I really want to give Kate bishop it, but I think realistically is the answer Herc?! Someone try and talk me out of Herc please 😂 I also have CGR rank 4 ascended who’s currently unawakened too
Hey guys - struggling a bit with 7.1.5. I’m taking the hood path but can’t seem to shake off the debuffs and they’re just tearing me apart. These are my main champs, does anyone think there is another path more suited to what I have available?
Hi - If I already have Shuri 6* ranked up but she's really my only tech option (apart from 7* war machine who is meh) Which 6* should I focus on ranking next that gives me the option to take on different fights that Shuri can't? Stark Spidey or Omega Sentinel (both awakened)
Well this is going well. I’ve been absolutely hammering through these quests the last few days (big thanks to @DannyB whos always there for any questions and also mcoc encyclopaedia on YouTube who explains all the nodes and how to counter them so well) yesterday I completed 7.1 and now I already find myself at 7.2.5. Sinister has been an absolute monster for the majority of 7.2!!

Hasn’t b panther got some cleanse mechanism now? Maybe he would be ok.
Iceman is immune to the debuffs inflicted.
Chee wrecks that path though, use ice for abom would be my plan as it can be a bit too much poison for her to shrug.
Imo act 7 is lot easier in comparison to act 6
