We already have ISO for leveling and catalysts for rank ups, gold is just a useless addition to those resources, and it's just a cash grab and a way to make us worry about another resource.

    It’s a problem if you’re not getting it, like many things in life, but it’s very useful or you would have no levelled or ranked champs

    We did use to be able to rank up only with catalysts iirc, but that was changed.

    I don't think it's useless. There's just not enough without opening crystals, duping champs then selling the ISO.

    The game economy is very broken. KABAMs idea of value is drastically different than the players. (Just look at the 6 star AG - 7 star sig stone 'discussion' lol)

    You get plenty of gold though. If you’re low it’s because you’re ranking too many champs up or aren’t grinding the game enough

    Except gold is used by everyone in all progression levels and 6* AGs have 0 value for some..

    I have, many times actually, and I just find gold to be annoying.

    It is interesting how much of a failure most Kabam cash grabs are, insofar as almost no one spend cash on them.

    i remember when i started 8-9 years ago and was struggling to get enough gold to rank up champions...

    I see what you mean with gold being an unnecessary resource, it’s just there to limit us when It runs out, it’s only good use was buying champion boosts in black market but that ship has sailed

    I don't think that's true. It really depends on where you're at as a player.

    For example, since its introduction, I had never in my life ranked up a single Relic, because of the gold cost involved and would rather save that resource for waking up my actual champions.

    This is the first time I've ever been in a position to feel comfortable ranking up some relics, only because of the excess of Gold that was gifted during the Banquet event. (Of which I felt like we got A LOT of gold and A LITTLE of ISO which was pretty annoying)
