  Every resource (except 5* awakening gems and mastery cores) have a capacity limit and an independent expiration when placed into the stash. Arena Boosts are probably the most common (and least utilized) resource in the game.
  
  Most solo events offer arena boost crystals throughout the milestones (including arena). You can also get them pretty commonly in the Lesser and Greater Solo Crystals. So with an abundance of areas to get said resources and having a low limit on the capacity, I can imagine that playing a significant role in the short expiry date.
  
  My best advice to you is to save up your arena boost crystals until the arena you want to use them on comes around (that’s if you utilize them in the arena). If not, save them up and open during item use. Best methods of taking full advantage of the boosts in large quantities. I doubt they will ever change the expiry time either because people already complain enough about getting the boosts in general.

  I always just save the crystals till im ready to use them

  Thanks for the replies.
  I did actually only open them for Sparky Arena, put up 7m and stopped after day 2. It just seems like the time frame to use them is so short compared to all the other items.

  I think it is to stop people from saving up too many... but when yo realize you can just save the crystals it really has not purpose when you realize that.
  
  but yeah as others mentioned either burn them every chance you can on a x3 or just hoard the crystals.
