New bundle shows insane deflation in r4 price!

Looking at the new team builder bundle, you can see that Kabam values a single r4 7* champion at $3,000(pre-tax) (NOT TO MENTION ALL THE OTHER VALUABLE RESOURCES IN THE BUNDLE), which is absolutely insane considering how much people had to spend just 1 month ago to get a single r4! It was valued at (approx.) $15,000 during the banquet. What’s everyone’s thoughts on this!

Whales wished that a r4 was only 15k during banquet. On average you were looking to pay about 50k per r4 from the crystals.

It is also a common trend where soon after banquet has the r4, kabam starts adding new ways to get them. I wouldnt be surprised if r4s were commonplace in a year.

You're forgetting that for every $50k they spent per R4 during banquet it also got them three 7* crystals and half a titan. Gotta take the full value of banquet into account.

OP, this is called Price Skimming. It's a standard marketing strategy used by companies even before the advent of T7Bs.

Also, it looks like you get an extra T6CC and an extra T5CC if you buy this bundle from the webstore instead of through the game. I guess Kabam really wants people to use the webstore.

Yeah, I don't doubt it, I was just saying I didn't buy this deal to know either way.
When i first became Valiant I bought the Limit 1/1 Sunday Special from the webstore and it didn't remove the option to also buy the same thing from the game store itself.
But again, I believe people if they say this is different.

There was a technical limitation on the web store that originally prevented Kabam from being able to enforce cross-store limits. However, that was rectified some time last year I believe. The store is now capable, if the devs choose, to enforce global limits across the in-game store and the web store combined.
