Recent Beta Test - feedback from a participant.

Hi Kabam,

As a recent participant in the Beta test of Luke Cage and Red Hulk enhancements I was really happy to be asked to participate and logged in to the beta environment daily - sometimes multiple times in a day to play with the champs and get a feel them so I could answer the survey, which I answered before you had an issue with it and had to close it.

I was happy to participate and give up my time in the real game for the betterment of the game and to benefit all of us players. I do think however it would have been nice of Kabam to acknowledge all of us beta testers with at the very least a thankyou message and an update on what would happen from here, but there has been absolutely nothing said and that to me is not very good at all. I think it's quite rude actually!

You asked us to do you a favour, and when someone does that the least you can do is say thanks. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this @kabammike. I think it's really poor form on Kabam's part.

I also was very happy to have been asked to participate..... And TRIED to login to the Beta environment daily, but was unable to when I clicked the temporary Beta test gear.

I was able to get a feel for clicking an icon that had no use for me the entirety of the testing and would have liked to answer a survey but was in the dark and wasn't even informed it went down.

I WOULD have been happy to participate and give up my time for the betterment of the game.

It would also have been nice for Kabam to send an acknowledgment email and apologize to those of us that were unable to login at all from day 1....... But they didn't

They asked me to do them a favor, and I compare the situation to something like this.

A friend asks me a favor to help him move starting the following week, and it will take approx. 7days to complete. I agreed and went to his place each morning at 9am for 7days straight........only problem was that he was never there and didnt reach out to me to let me know the scoop. After the 7th day I decided to consider my job done and take a rest. Never heard back from that friend. LOL

I do feel a bit disappointed that I'm not able to give personalised feedback but I'm guessing they have enough data from usage patterns etc, especially since there would be a mountain of it from ROL over the last few years.

Not having group of paid beta testers seems highly unprofessional and cheap for company that charges so much for their game. And it indeed explains a lot of issues with this game

Wanted to swing by and apologize for what seemed to be a lack of appreciation. We sent out an in-game message after closing the Beta saying thank you to players, but it may have been missed! Definitely wanted to let you know that we really appreciate everyone who took the time to test out both Luke Cage and Red Hulk on the Beta. We'll have an update soon to provide with y'all on the outcome of the Beta!

As for those who were unable to enter the Beta despite an invite, we totally get how frustrating that was and we're already talking about ways to avoid that for future Beta Tests. Alongside that, we also had technical issues with the Survey that forced us to close it earlier than expected, but nonetheless, we appreciate the feedback provided within the Survey as well as here.

Thanks for the reply. I really think that Kabam needs to do more to say thanks to the beta testers. Not everyone will see my post. How you do it is up to you. People have their time to you guys for the betterment of your game. It's up to you guys what you do but if you want people.willing to participate a proper thankyou needs to happen.
