honestly I think this was such a solid move for them. they want to make money, it is their business after all, and there is PLENTY to catch the eye, but even on the FTP side, there is no way you come out of this without at least one significant thing you needed/ wanted. champ you’re pining for? enough materials to get that one rank up done? even the solo event “fight for Deadpool’s amusement” had some solid rewards for like NO erfort; go send any rank OG Deadpool on autofight, RttL 1.1, and you catch 5K Titan shards in 15min max.
pay wall? no question, it’s a sales event for them. but Kabam really feels to have included us all in on this one. the “fabulous parting gifts” for the frugal or the resolute are actually pretty fab. not going to pine too badly over 7* RG not happening for me any time soon, I got some cool stuff.

If we see the events like this trend in this direction instead of toward the dreaded caps commissary I can see alot of players being happier and a little more willing to spend.
