Any way to revert to the old web forum site

Is there a way to switch back I like the other one more.

There is not. We have to wait for Kabam to start threatening the service provider for the forums. Hopefully they get it squared away.

It is quite odd that the forums have increasing problems the exact same time as the game though. They're not connected and yet, here we are.

Agreed, the old one was better. This one is hard to read, every time there's a new post you can't just scroll to the bottom, you have to read every post all over again to find the hidden replies.

I would caveat that they aren’t obviously connected. Connection could be something else.

They are trying to decrease the amount of people using the forum, just as they are trying to decrease the amount of players playing the game.

I've been absent from the forums lately due to not having a lot of free time. Glad to hear the new look may not be permanent as it certainly isn't an improvement.

click where it says sort by oldest and change it to newest.

Kabam fired someone who, on his last day, put some trash code into the next update so that everything went to hell the month after he left. Then he went to work on whichever company is the forum's service provider, and messed with them again by screwing up the site.

That's useful for a comment or two, but not if there are a ton of new comments, where you' find yourself reading whole conversations backwards.

We're working on it. Probably will end up being a hybrid of this and the older version because background updates mean the version we were using before is not going to be supported going forward. But we can make this look a lot better, just will take some figuring out

This forum is fine. Everything new takes time to get used to. It's not the end of the world.

Figured out how to revert to quote style comments. I think nested is cool but agree with the feedback that it can make it harder to follow threads sometimes. Useful tool to have access too, could maybe use it just in specific places in the future.

I think right now my biggest issue is how the page does not jump to unread posts.

That and missing yelling color for Kabam posters. That's actually a really useful tool because it allows me to scroll through pages of fluff in order to reach a useful/informative post.

And, it seems impossible to find anything I've actually written lately: the 'my posts' function actually leads to "My discussions".

Maybe a little unrelated, but ever since the layout change I noticed most people are using the Like/Dislike reactions more than the Agree/Disagree reactions, which is the opposite of how it was before

This is actually something I asked about, a toggle able light/dark mode. They said its not available yet but is on their feature roadmap, so when its an option we'll enable it

If we were trying to kill the forums we would have done it last year with the launch of Discord. I know its trickier now with communication coming in multiple places, but we're trying to meet players where they are and we know there is a very loyal contingent of players who prefer to interact through this medium. Trying to get things improved to make a more usable forum experience, just taking time cause there's a bunch of other things to do as well. Promise I'm trying to make this place better.
