says 100% resistance to bleed effects. Last time I checked passive bleed is an effect. No?

it's only 100% resistance, so after bullseye places the bleed vulnerability on sp2 it increases bleed potency by 50% so his instant bleeds become 150% surpassing 100% resistance.

I think he's been extremely overhyped honestly. Yes, he can do Yelena extremely well but what else is he realistically good for? Korg? Onslaught, Jean, Dazzler, Negasonic all easier to use and just as effective. Bullseye? Gentle, Onslaught, Sinister, Negasonic all just as effective too. Even against Yelena, we already have DPX, Onslaught, Sinister, Jean and soon Cassandra.

I think he's definitely a good champ but nothing insane, he's kind of a one trick pony destined to be the mutant Patriot imo, nothing else.

Allison vids are known to attract the brainless/clueless part of the community, nothing new here, other than that yeah what other's have said, he can do yelena pretty fast and that's all

I saw his damage, but wasn't impressed. I get it that he's a "yelena counter", but so is my ban option.

He was slower at taking down champs that others were faster at.

Maybe that's part of his "balance"? Or maybe I need to watch more vids on him? Anybody know how he is on defense?

Anyways, I don't feel like he's a must have for me.

I think this is going to be patriot-photon situation just a bit better damage that's all and which means he won't even get rebalanced ( not that it does anything significant ).

The lack of utility will hold him back on numerous nodes.

His damage is phenomenal, but he doesn't have the most utility in my opinion. He's a very simple champ though, not sure how well he's gonna age though

Sure they are probably overall better, but that's the point isn't it? Each mutant is uniquely designe so that they are different.

Lol absolutely hilarious, it's not just Allison tho I even saw Nick136 doing Onslaught in like 50-60 secs as if that's anything special. I mean cool but so can Gentle and literally anyone with decent damage as long as you can intercept and play with reversed controls.

Just really stupid imo, this guy is all damage, 1/4 utility. Not saying he's trash but if people dog on Patriot so much then why isn't this guy getting the same amount of hate he's literally made to counter Yelena and that's it. There isn't a single other defender in the game you would fight with him other than Yelena because they all have multiple counters that are faster and easier to use, hell even against Yelena I would still pick Jean or Cassandra.

Yes but if you want to stay competitive in GC in BGs none of that unique part matters if they are for the most part a one trick pony. Let's just think here for a quick second, currently Onslaught Sinister Jean Gentle are staple champs, that's already four spots taken in your deck let's assume you want to run 6 mutants would you pick this guy over Dazzler/Domino/Capt. Britain Cassandra/DPX/Negasonic/Dust? Cause I sure as hell wouldn't simply because all the other have way more uses.

I'm pretty sick and tired of where Mutant champions have begun to trend, the 'psychic' ability of a lot of them, the neuroshocks, etc

I'm ready for a Mutant that feels 'different' than what we've gotten recently.

How about another one that can do fun things with magnetism and #metal champions - give me POLARIS donned in all green and ready to cause destruction

Or give me a mutant that doesn't just teleport, but throws teleportation discs like a combo between Nightcrawler and Spot and give us AOA BLINK! A total rockstar

I was hoping before seeing we're getting a Toad update that they'd give us ANOLE with camouflage and tongue action

ELIXIR with his golden-healing touch and his black-lifesucking ability - he could change forms like Absorbing Man

ARMOR with her big globby red armor aura deals insane damage and is hard to hit

BANSHEE or SIRYN with their screeching voices to disorient and disable

FORGE where his mutant ability is to make machines with his surroundings - he could make different damage depending on the class he was fighting

LEGION where different nightmare personalities come out and can do different types of damages maybe changing based on your specials

Just give me SOMETHING we haven't seen before or only have in one other mutant in the game

As someone that has Cassandra, I would definitely pick Samurai over her as a Yelena counter. There's a lot more that can go wrong with Cassandra in that fight then can go wrong with Samurai

The game is not only about BG. Samurai currently is a unique tool to safely take out some combo-based nodes like Aegon in the last Crucible. As for BG he is useful now mostly against Yelena but who knows how many champs with similar combo based mechanics we will get in the future. So he certainly isnt a must have one but I would gladly have him in my collection just in case.

Well that's more of a skill issue tbh no offense, Cassandra's rotation is more complicated sure but unlike Silver Samurai she's actually a good defender (probably Jean level if not slightly better) and she handles more than just Yelena.
