Why silk so weak in this fight?

Why the damage of silk is very weak on this fight in eq classic?
It feels like i have a weakness buff of me

Regen is too high and can fight him forever

Abs man gets +9000 physical resistance in his black uru form. You need to deactivate it to do damage or push him to sp2 to activate magma form. Silk deals physical damage.

Punish his specials with heavy. Maybe try watching a few videos to learn to counter him. You should be able to take him with a R3.

Heavy counter his specials to keep him out of his forms

It'll be a long fight if you don't deactivate his forms. I used Silk for one run. Spiderham for the rest.

Just did first run using Spiderwoman who works great. Easy intercepts to get fury and heavy after his specials. Power stings helped a lot as Abs Man throw a lot of specials. Liking Spiderwoman more and more. Will continue using for rest of my runs

you do know he’s still throwing crazy block damage in Uru form, right? it’s just, Uru does burst physical and gives him DEEP physical resist (thus your question), and Magma does the same but with energy damage/ resist.

Silk is an AWESOME Abs-man counter, but you gotta either learn to turn off his forms, or push him to sp2, as said prior.
