Wow Kabam really cannot read the room regarding eq

Why oh why are valiant still having to do classic before elder. Especially this time if you’ve already done it this month. You lot can’t get it through your heads that one of the main problems besides the stupidly high attack values in elder was that we had to do classic in the first place

Better solution for this month would have been to knock the attack and health values for Classic down even further or pop extra refills into the milestones.

You’re correct that no one is forced to do this or any other content once, twice or ever. But not every critique is a whine.

Kabam didn't revise the EQ because people completed it but felt inconvenienced by the difficulty or the slog.

They revised it because a large portion of the playerbase literally couldn't do it.

So the double dipping crowd isn't really the issue here.

It's whether the new revised EQ has made it manageable for those who couldn't do it initially (as laid out in great detail by DNA3000's post earlier this month).

I didn't have an issue with the original EQ so I assume I won't have an issue with the revised one, but I am very interested to hear how the people who couldn't do the first iteration feel about the changes.

I think if anyone was expecting a complete nerf of elder EQ, then they likely fell victim to the quixotic triumph of hope over reason.

I'm not here for the first time. I've seen people claim money grab at literally every decision they didn't like, and I've seen some - more than some at times - not like 90% of decisions.

Aside from that, I'm all for pressing on logical issues. There's nothing logical about claiming they're trying to milk money from Refills. It's literally never been a cash cow for them. It's not going to start. Energy refills itself. We still have some available, and more coming as they add more, to be seen as to where from.

Then there's Units. People stockpile thousands and thousands. What money are they making when someone can buy a Refill for 30 Units? Not a very smart milking, if you ask me. If it doesn't make sense, it's probably not true.

Your unit argument holds for every spending event in the game no? I guess you think there is no money being made in CW or Banquet either? Draining units for basic things like energy is the first step towards getting people to buy units for other things. They don't need to directly monetise energy for this move to be a revenue booster. Just because you can't look past the first thing, doesn't mean it doesn't make sense or isn't true.

People need to understand:

Doing classic is not that bad.
This time it's bad because of energy issues. (Exploring 9.3 and double EQ)
That will not repeat next month.
EQ is supposed to be a month long event. And it's definitly not energy intensive as a whole.

Dont know how you feel but i suggest to make peace with it, as the requirement of classic completion is here to stay, because that's what I feel.

Rewards and prestige tiers.

Rewards are redistributed towards lower tiers.
The gains with a single tier bump are a lot linear and less impactful.
Rewards scaling is better than before.

The attack rating is still at 16-17k.

Even Act 9.3 that just dropped does not have that high attack values.

Classic difficulty requirement needs to go.

There was no requirement to do lower difficulty during valiant gauntlet ...why add this req back.

The feedback needs to be given now and as loud as possible cos they just keep missing the point.
