I have nothing new to say that the ones above (if you're sorting by oldest) or below (if you're sorting by newest) have said.
It's a very hypocritical and unnecessary change. That being said, I'm still taking mine to R4, but I'm now less happy about it.

Edit: To clarify what I mean. Any change Kabam makes to any champion for any reason now has to go through the filter of Bullseye, Enchantress, Serpent, and Dark Phoenix. Since those champions are allowed to exist as they are, Kabam needs to have a DAMN good reason for changing any other champ in a negative way.

Shes not even that good of a defender, this is Kabam acting like they are doing us a favor when really she's just too strong of an attacker.

In continuing with the tradition of sticking it to the player base Kabam has decided to nerf one the best offensive champs released in a while in spider woman. We complained about serpent, crickets. We complained about onslaught, nothing. We all know why it’s because those are op defensive champs.

As soon as we get a high powered offensive champ though they nerf her. This is why your revenue is going down, because you treat us like ****.

Also notice that you’ve gone silent on the AI, input and interception issues

saying the ensnare and aar aren’t a big deal is insane. Look at the nodes for the Purgatory EQ boss and tell me that it’s not needed 😡…. Having that ensare with her as a science champ is one of the things that makes her special and why so many of us have R4’d her. Why can’t they just have the ensnare disabled on defense. We KNOW that it’s possible. Cmon Kabam, let’s have one September “W”

Ok no, just no that is not on at all.

The like of Serpent and Enchantress RNG is not a problem but Spider-Woman is.

Ensnare is a key ability that have a big impact on her as an Attacker, removing it would severely nerf her as a champ.

A champion that many players have paid, chase, use very valuable resource on.

So far all of "buff" rebalanced on champion insignificant, while with this "nerf" rebalanced is far too severe and unneeded.

The sentimental between the players, the game and Kabam is at all time low. We have Cyber Weekend and Banquet event coming up, as well as the Live Brawl show. I'm implored Kabam not to do this, show the loyal players that Kabam do care.

@KabamPinwheel , could you be so kind to please pass on the players feedback to the Rebalance team.

But to be fair, who was using her for Defense? I wouldn't take her down.

In my opinion, as a matter of principle, if a good % of people have taken a champ to the highest available level then those champs shouldn’t be touched. Almost everyone who got spiderwoman took her straight to r3/4.

This doesn’t feel like a decision taken in good faith.

She's actually a really good defender. If you've never tried to place her on defense or fight her in battlegrounds or war I would recommend giving it a go.

That's not a good example for her ensnare. 2 seconds is nothing, just wait it out. Spider Womid is trash now. Her only use is being a science champ that's poison immune with fury buffs, wait a minute.... Isn't that just Hulk 🤔.

This is absolutely pathetic and their "reasoning" is a complete joke. You sell the worst defenders in the game, call Serpent balanced, and just buffed other champs to have unavoidable damage. How in the actual hell is this the decision they landed on? Kabam is fine creating unavoidable damage defenders but nerfing one of the most popular champions in the game, including her offensive capabilities, was their solution to "balance"? We absolutely deserve rank down tickets if they continue with this incompetent action. Kabam is just piling up the L's left and right and then they do this too? Can't wait for the next $1400 event when they sell their next Balanced champ

After all the other horrible actions and announcements lately we now get this nonsense. I said in the Crashed thread that as someone who has been playing 9+ years i was as close to quitting this game as i ever was. I’m a mid tier player and finally after so much grinding finally just got my 1st rank 4 like a week ago and guess who it is. I’m over the horrible decision making, if this nerf does not come with a rank down ticket i’m beyond done with this game and their incompetent management

they design her.. tested her (well they should) and make her available.. players see the new champ.. want her so they use resources /units and money say to try and get her. Then they rank her and use her and now after months they have this to say. Gosh I’ve played this game for over 10 years and I’m sick to death of this “Balance”.. kabam if you make a champ available with what you give them.. then live with it and stop this nonsense. Don’t see why the community has to suffer because of your designers. Smh kabam..

At first I was being charitable and assumed that Kabam meant to say they were removing Fumble and mistyped Ensnare. But, it continue on to talk about AAR and how it was not fair to us players that we had to deal with AAR against Enchantress, and I knew they were trying to sell an Attack nerf under the guise of making her less of a Defense threat.
