Out of everything in MCOC, new champions keep me interested in the game. Thoughts?

Franken-Castle has crushed, berserk (Storm relic effect) incinerate, and undying. Makes total sense for a frankenstein Punisher.

Dracula has Nullify, Dire Degeneration, Blesd, Slow, all passives, and a weird Regeneration

U are talking about their abilities who knows what ability of them kabam will later nerf by saying that's a defensive nerf

Personally for me and (I know of other), it really solidified everything that is going on in MCoC.

Like you I get excited about new champs, what they can do, who they going to counter, thinking and planning what rank I would take them if I ever get them.

I also look forward new contents, maybe a new everest that I need to bring out the spreadsheet for.

But this month (or info and contents for next event, including Saga ect). I just have no excitement for any of them.

New champs - just another 3 months wait to see what will happen, if they are amazing, then oh better not get too excited, if they are bad, well might as forget about them, because it will just be another 12 months for a insignificant "buff".

New contents, most likely will be over tune and underwhelming rewards (because of the rewards budget).

It is hard to be excited about MCoC with it current state.

I’m gonna try to be objective about this. However if Dracula has evade on defense, I’m gonna lose it.

Both of these characters design wise are incredible. Say it with me everyone, “art team don’t miss.” I’ve never been more stoked on just how a character release looks than these two.

Dracula is one of my favorite marvel characters and I’m hyped he’s an October champ. I hope he is powerful and a decent dual threat (not a broken defender for the love of God) as the mystic class could use a bit of a boost here.

I’m not the biggest comic book guy, so franken-castle was an interesting one. I’m stoked to see what he’s like in game.

Overall, excited for the new champs, but still not very excited for the game direction. This livestream has gotta give us some kind of hope here

There is no point in new champ excitement unless u have so much money that u don't even care abt it's balance nerf later on

If u don't spend on champs u have to wait until December titan pool to get lucky

Even if u got lucky there , u still not gonna be sure if u should either put resources or gem on them

Bcuz there is no guarantee on that your new favourite champ will not get nerf later on

If u want to follow blindly new champs

yeesh… sounds like everyone’s having a rough day. Couldn’t imagine why ANYWAY!

Count Dracula looks awesome as expected, we’re seeing buff nullification, buff steal, maybe a new degen, DoT, and a unique regeneration. Seems like he’s going to be more of an attacker. I really like that they used Deathless Thanos for the ideal matchup. I bet you that his evasive abilities will be geared towards attacking the Serpent (you know… the cosmic class defender that everyone cried about for a full year who they promised was only meant to open up design space.) Well that space is finally here with Nico, Dracula, and others.

What I want to know most of all is why they used boosts AND a relic for Dracula without having a real damage rotation for the showcase? It completely throws off hos prestige making it harder to calc. Also the Kushala relic most likely makes him tankier so it was not needed for this specific roll out. Kind of annoying but oh well, we’ll find out more on Friday.

meh. I don't get why people get so excited about Dracula. He's not even a real Marvel character. He's public domain. I'd rather have Baron Blood, who's at least a Marvel created character.

And Franken-Castle. Big whoop. Stupid reinvention of a character. If they wanted a horror theme and didn't want to do Blood and Union Jack, they should've added Man-Wolf or Blade's daughter or someone else with a horror/Halloween connection, like, I dunno, AGATHA?!

They're either going to be ass and we'll have to wait a year for them to become slightly less ass or they're going to be too op (unless theyre a 5/5 defender) and they'll get nerfed.

Even prior to the Spiderwoman nerf, I was losing interest in new champion releases as the BG focused designs just leaves a bad taste. The abilities that pop up in kits are always just problems/cures to BG deckbuilding.

I have no particular affinity to Dracula or Frankencastle either, which has always been the other aspect that used to get me excited about new champions.
