In Game Currencies

I don’t always watch the extracurricular stuff or come to forums. Was radiance replacing everything else a fever dream of mine? I’m open to being wrong, but the special tab just added a 34 day timer on earning all of these currencies I thought were getting replaced. In reality they just added one more and it doesn’t feel like their continued lack of relevance has been addressed either. So what am I missing?

Radiance was added so they could ignore updating one store instead of four (granted, radiance store is supposedly getting an update this month). It's meant to be a premium currency, so the stuff you get with other currencies now will remain there for the most part while the good stuff gets tucked behind earning radiance.

I memory holed the **** out of that then. I thought it was a full blown replacement for the sake of simplicity. Thanks for the clarification. You know where they talked about this?

The Radiance Store purpose was to give BG's a boost which it did. Kabam sold it to the player base as a potiental replacement for the other worthless in-game stores, but don't be fooled.

Radiance is supposed to be a single currency for all high-level competitive modes - so BG, AW seasons, and the high tiers of AQ at the moment. The idea being they can adjust the radiance store and that adjusts the top reward tiers for all the relevant game modes. I don’t think they ever stated it would outright replace other currencies?

Just remove the currency limit so I can collect all the rewards without going over the limit

Is a limit necessary for non premium currency like Mysterium and Glory

Close… we did not say Radiance is the replacement to everything…

We said that if Radiance goes well (which, it is, imo) we will explore consolidating other currencies with a currency similar to Radiance for non-competitive resources.

I think radiance is going great and I would definitely look forward to a potential non-competitive consolidation. I definitely misremembered what the stated goal was so I appreciate the correction.
