Fumble vs. ensnare

Fumble is not an evade counter unless I am mistaken it only prevents dexterity during special attacks. Severe or not.
Am I wrong?
If not then that bs post about Spider Jess nerf is just that, complete bs!
Ensnare prevents evade.
At least that's what I get from the description in-game.
That post kabam wrote did not change anything and was just more of them beating us in the head with the bs again, it wasn't an apology, it wasn't anything. When will the lies stop?
I have an idea kabam.... How about you stop trying to fix things that aren't broken cause you just mess up everything more.
Fix the bugs, make new champs , but if it isn't broken leave it alone.
Unless you all want to start looking for new jobs.
Cause you kabam geniuses are going to cause the game to end.

They literally said they were going to change her kit to make her counter evade while fumble is up. So either it will be reactive language on her kit, or fumble itself will change.

Also they didn't say they were doing anything, they just said that the fumble counters evade which it doesn't

They said that whilst the fumble is active they won't be able to evade. That's them telling you that will change it so that will be the case.

while her Fumble is active, her Opponent will not be able to evade.

One thing to note on this, since her Fumble is a Severe Debuff, this makes her an even stronger and more reliable Evade counter.

So this is it what they said and yeah I don't think you guys know what you r talking about. Doesn't say it will , it says it does. And that's not what fumble does

Dude, seriously? They are talking within the context of her rebalance. So when her rebalance is live fumble will stop evade.

I’m thinking of it more as a spider woman specific ability.

similar to how stealth Spider-Man cannot miss while his slow is up. But slow on other champions do not ignore miss.

or how chee’s tranq allows you to ignore miss

They may or may not change the debuff it itself or they may just implement into her kit a secondary ability that stops any evade whilst fumble is active. that way fumble still only stops dexterity but her kit stops the evade whilst it is active. in the world of coding and programming almost anything is possible and they have clearly committed to her continuing to be an evade counter via fumble

They nerfed by removing ensnare + added fumble to counter evade(buff) - so we end in the middle ground

I don't say so, the game says so. She's the only champ with fumble. It was a new mechanic brought out with her release.

Look at "fear" for example. Fear effects prevent unblockables or reduce unblockable AA by 100%.

But Deathless She-hulk's prevents miss as well. So they can make it so Spidey-bae's fumble prevents evade in addition to its usual purpose.

Are you having a laugh? You even quoted Kabam's dev diary and then proceeded to tell a dozen people they are reading it incorrectly.

Also, I don't think future fumble effects from yet to be released champs will counter evade. I believe only hers will but we'll have to wait and see. I think she's the only champ with fumble currently but I stand to be corrected.

They are again lying to the community. This is still an offensive nerf. The AAR was always part of her offensive kit and should stay.

They shifted the evade counter to Fumble, but the 30% AAR from Ensnare is still being eliminated. So, they are weakening SW’s attack abilities. Which means all of their talk about the motivation to balance SW being to reduce her defensive ability accuracy is nonsense. They are determined to reduce her value as an attacker. If they weren’t, then they would just remove Ensnare from her kit as a defender, but leave it as an attacker. Easy fix that would reduce her defensive ability without reducing her value as an attacker.
