Can we get a straight forward, honest answer here

Kabam, have you tuned certain champions to throw specials into blocks?

For example, Enchantress and Spiderwoman will frequently throw their sp1 into block, Photon also does this but more when she is in Pure Light form.

These 3 champs both have abilities attached to their special that applies through the block (photon goes unblockable and does extra block damage) but NONE of them mention this in their kit.

But other champions don't, hard holding block has always been a good way to prevent the defender from throwing sp1/sp2 except with champions like the above.

So, in the hope of true honesty, is this the case? Or is there any other explanation?

While I don't have the actual place there information have been provided before but can say that I hear confirmation regarding Enchantress and Spider Woman.

There might be some info in the kits.

I know that Enchantress have to throw 3 SP1 before she can throw her SP2, and she is tune to throw more SP1 with sometime into block.

I believe Spider Woman said somewhere in her kit that she more likely to SP1 when Fumb is on, and she is definitely throw more SP1 even into block.

I think there was also something about Bulleyes more keen to throw SP1, since unless you got an Evade, you can't hit him until he throw is SP1.

America Chavez, Mysterio and Heimdail have been coded to throw more Heavy.

Mordo are coded to be more passive when his Power Gain is on.

Also if you noticed, Iron Man IW like to either dash back and do a little walk before throw his SP1, cheeky little bugger 🤣

Is Water actually in a "wet" state.

I mean things come into contact with Water get wet, but is Water actually classified as in a state of wet? 🤣
