How is that gaslighting? Ensnare has a 30% chance to fail abilities. Regardless of your feelings about having that ability to begin with, that is unreliable. You don't have to like the compromise they landed at, but I find it extremely hard to see how she will be less reliable on both attack and defense now.

for example you may fail onslaughts reverse controls for his sp2 which can get you hit. I’ve seen people lose bgs matches because of this.

You think you're arguing semantics, but you're ignoring the context of the word.

Unreliable is in reference to "your" abilities failing, not how effective the Ensnare is. It is the same thing as people complaining how a 25% chance that a defender has to evade feels more like 50% (your ability to hit the opponent feels unreliable).

Players may agree/disagree with Kabam's decision, but that is the context of the "unreliable" word.

I mean…he doesn't make a good case for knowing what the word means with this post. He either misunderstands the word "gaslighting" or the word "unreliable". Quite possibly both.

Also, as someone who've been abused via actual gaslighting, yeah, nah, this ain't quite it.
