Another disappointing update

NGL after the livestream I had really high hopes but now seeing the events it's disappointing asf
1) we're missing 2 compensations ( which okay I'm fine waiting a day or 2 more)

2)the bounty event, getting points for it is near Impossible. u can't get points from normal fights only specific n even then the highest is in raids which is 100 every thing else it ranges from 2 to 25 n the first milestone itself is at 1000

3) the hunger or cure event, first of all u don't even really get to choose like even if u do it's biased towards cure in all ways u get 20 points for accepting it n ironically instead of a virus being spread the only thing u can really spread is the cure even if there was a way to spread, the cure side has the clear majority only 21% were infected just from accepting the cure u get 20 points, that's given them such a lead tht no way will hunger catch up

I returned to the game last month after a 6 month break expecting things to get better but with each update it's gotten worse. My ONLY hope is on lil Stevie's incursion event

Only pro point for the update so far is the glory update

yeah,..they really love to go the over complicated route,..thinking it’s interesting or fun,..they really never do learn,..even though feedback has been overwhelmingly against that constant approach.

Oh well back to 3D euchre and risk,..as this month looks like a big pile of mcoc 💩.

The bounty side quest is ridiculous. Why not like before where we fought fight could pick the bounty, use it to enter and then get the rewards. Now to get the bounty we have to hit incredibly point value milestones. Also where are the minion crystals? Is this coming later?

What a disappointment. They get all hyped up in the live stream like the upcoming month is going to be great, but the upcoming month keeps ending up garbage. This month the same.

They said they understand they need to put out a higher quality product. Do they think increasing the amount of crappy content is the 'quality' the community is looking for?

Another month of no spending for me.

Just a few comments on some of your points here for clarity:

1) Compensation
The compensation is coming; these are two giant data pulls that are going to take a bit of time. I'm hoping to have it to everyone by Friday!

2) Bounty Event
This is an Alliance Bounty Event, part of the Alliance Super Season - so you don't need to gain all those points by yourself. There's an unlimited number in Incursions and Battlegrounds, but they're meant to be a slow gain over the course of the Event.

3) Hunger & Cure
If you've already been infected… You need to be gifted the Cure. If you weren't infected, this is where the choice comes in. Ultimately, this Event doesn't impact too much; it's just a fun little zombie tie-in.

I don’t think most people have realized yet that these realm events are only peak milestones, meaning we only get the top reward, which takes an event that looked sorta nice rewards wise into an event that really is nothing, I mean why not just give all the milestones it’s really not that much.

A lot of us wanted casual options for EQ just to enjoy the story. We hated last month, even after the supposedly “significant” tune down. It was implied that Kabam was listening, but it looks like nothing has changed. It was such a slog, I don’t even want to bother this month.

This has killed the 1 part of the game I still liked.

We made it a lot easier this round from where the tune down was last month - another +/- 30% in both health and attack, based on progression.

Jump in and give it a shot; it should feel like much less of a slog

It's like arguing with a brick wall, getting the point through your skulls on how you screwed up EQ. Some of us were just fine having something to run at the lower difficulties. You have locked us into something based on roster strength, some of us getting that way because we grinded and got lucky to have a number of R2 7 stars. It doesn't matter if the health pool is greatly reduced when we were basically shooting fish in a bucket but happy for those rewards. You and your team mucked with something you didn't need to mess with. Kabam (Osaurus) Rex - We hoped by your promise that more was done. I tried the EQ earlier with my top five heroes. Couldn't get past Tigra on the easy quest. Was not going to use Revives/healing for something I've been able to run with my team on autoplay in the past. I am no longer playing EQ. Because you mucked this so irreparably. An unhappy customer who wants to go back to being able to select the difficulty I play at that you have since removed.

Compare it to a few months ago instead of last month. Still a slog. I can’t speak for all casuals, but for me it’s not any better.

The bounty event is just stupid. It will take the whole month just to get a couple of bounties. My alliance doesn't usually even do raids so we are screwed. Even trying to get those points in AQ or AW will take forever. Ive been alright with other changes but this is ****. We'll never get anywhere near those milestones because we won't be able to do the bounties.

We're still planning on adding the option for players to lower the difficulty for fewer rewards, like it used to be.

Good then, keep the Elder difficulty, it's not a bad idea, but enable us to play the lower versions as well, not just one version.

Elder EQ still feels ridiculously overtuned for a side quest. The effort to reward ratio doesn't justify doing it. 6 quests in Classic and another 6 quests on Elders with 15 fights each without an option for champ heal, all this for not even one full T4A is attrocious.

Why can't the no. of fights be reduced to 10 or 12 and/or add an option to heal the champ every 4 or 5 fights (atleast a 40% health gain if not full heal)? I don't understand Kabam's logic of pissing off a vast majority of playerbase and hoping players come onboard with these disastrous changes.

Hunger & Cure: All the members in our alliance sent each other the "infection/hunger", as there wasn't much clarity (surprise, surprise) around what it was, so there's no one in the alliance who can gift the cure. Now what? Did you foresee that happening?

If the event doesn't impact too much, why have a half-baked, ill-planned, and most of all, poorly communicated event pose as what you think is fun and let us waste quest energy on it?

It’s still way too hard (for me and a lot of casual players). And now I can’t do the side quest as it’s tied into one difficulty.

I’m newly Paragon - only through rank-ups - very casual, very low skilled. A comfortable difficulty for me is AQ map 3 or the old EQ Uncollected. Anything above is too challenging.

There’s just less for me to play in this game for another month.

It’s cool that you will be letting us choose our difficulty eventually but the old EQ also had a perfect length - it kept me playing for the whole month.

The bounty event format is trash no offence but it is like my alliance doesn't really do raids n collecting myself the highest apart from raids is 10 points not 25 I just completed the whole alliance quest n I only got 80 points for it in total, I get it's a slow event but at this rate we'll never even reach the bare minimum

The problem with hunger n cure is it's a complete fraud, it's like a government co op where they fund who they want but say they hav nothing to do with it, kabam is fully on the cure side n yes I am cured but still doesn't change the facts those being
U get more points for choosing cure
You can't even infect ppl especially when those who are cured are uninfectable
Even if this event is smhow fixed ppl are still gonna choose cure who in their right mind will choose hunger when it can barely make 800k points while cure is already at 3 mil n just gonna keep going higher

ik I might sound like a hater but I really want kabam to get this right I've been playing this game since I was 10 yrs old I don't want this game to go bad or worse shut down but with each update it's only getting worse, kabam can't seem to understand tht smtimes players like the simpler things if the game n those are perfect just the way they were like eq was

It still is sloggish compared to what we had plus, before we could choose any difficulty lower or higher for the better plus I really liked collecting all the titles but rn best I can get is just 1 for a lot of ppl myself included eq was one of the relaxing aspects of mcoc now it's just another grind format

Curious Me and 4 of my alliance mates are going Cure, despite doing all the same things opening the message picking cure, completing our objectives. Yet for some reason me and one of them only received 2 points and 2 of the others have received 4 points. Is there something wrong, a bug, or am I missing something. We followed the same pattern. So curious why myself and at least one of my alliance members has 2 less points than our other members.

the team spending events are stupid. you have to either buy and hope others do so you can get the rewards you want, or just don’t bother at all. When I spend I prefer to only need to to get the payoff not rely on others. Even others will feel pressured which isn’t cool either. Only good part of the update was the glory store.

SQ and EQ for me is too tough and Im the lowest level Valiant.

I was much happy to play lower levels of EQ and SQ.

Now I cannot even play those!

@Kabam (Osaurus) Rex kindly, kindly and really kindly allow to choose lower levels of EQ and SQ. You can keep the highest levels of classic and elders to pro players or players looking for challenges but for casual players like me, we are happy, really happy to play lower levels of Conqueror, Uncollected.

Again a humble request, kindly allow us to choose low difficulty.

I get that the bounty event is an alliance event. I can read. The problem is that unless your in an alliance that does alot of raids, which alot are not, then for a monthly quest it's not worth messing with for few bounties only doing AQ and AW. You say unlimited incursions but that has the least points and would require some serious grinding to get minimal points. Really poorly designed. Might be ok for super alliances that the game is like a job, but not every alliance is like that.

@Kabam (Osaurus) Rex Can you consider the possibility of shortening the number of fights in each Elder quest to 10 or 12, and maybe giving an option to partially heal, say 40%, every 4 or 5 fights? This way the playerbase will be happy with adaptive EQ and there will be lot more player engagement in this format. This crucible style is not working due to the imbalance between the difficulty, length and the rewards we get for it.
