Get Cured... add points to winning side for more rewards!

Not sure why some people are reluctant to get cured, I guess they're not that fussed about the rest of the rewards and only want the cool but useless profile pics.
Makes sense to me to get cured and add their daily points to get more rewards in the winning side that's winning by a landslide.

I assume once the event is over both sides will have the same amount of points.

At one point the cure top milestone will be hit, and the other event will catch up.

For the first time in 10+ years of playing this game, I have no idea how an event works.

What does it means to send the cure? What does it mean to destroy the cure? How do you do that

I mean, to send it is literally to send it. Players on team cure can earn a copy of the cure to gift to someone infected. The infected person can then choose to accept the cure and switch sides or reject the cure and destroy it.

Part of the problem is also how quickly people with the cure will run out of people to send it to. Absolutely no one wants to go through the trouble of hunting for people they don't know to send them something.

Anyone on the hunger side make sure to destroy the cure 5 times. And leave the rest to Fate.

I’m asking my entire alliance to send me the cure to destroy it and so far I’ve managed to receive only one. I’m not optimistic that this will work. I have to repeatedly ask my alliance to get someone to send me a cure. That’s not something I want to have to do everyday. There’s 0 incentive for anyone to help me.

I figured it out, with a help of an alt acc I remember I had. As it happened, it was on the Cure side. Did the objective, got the cure, gifted it to my main and destroyed it.

I'll do it 4 more times then probably switch sides. If I remember to login into my alt acc..….

So if i am already affected and I choose to do absolutely nothing, eventually I will get all the juicy rewards in the end?

My question is, as a community it would be better if we all stick to one side, because that would accumulated the most potential rewards for all.

So since the Cure already have the higher points, might as well all join one side and continue the point accumulation and all the will better rewards.

It is not yet the win for cure side. You will not get rewards until event ends and making a judgement after a few days is wrong.
Everybody has a freedom to pick items to chase, this is not your right to judge them or tell them what to pick.

I do want the profile pictures from hunger event because they are cool and, more important, unique. Any other stuff from the realm event can be get in quests or in stores.
