Is it just me? EQ rewards

Please can someone explain how the EQ rewards system works?

it doesn't give you any rewards after completing a quest or exploring a chapter on classic difficulty. At the end of a quest it shows rewards on the screen but doesn't give you them.

It's different for sure. You earn points towards the milestone for completing paths of the EQ. If you click on the milestone rewards button you can see which ones you have "claimed" and which ones are in progress. Once you reach a milestone the rewards are given to your account. It looks different than past iterations but you definitely get the rewards for each milestone reached.

Completing a classic eq map rewards Etherion. Completing the Elder version of that map rewards a multiple of Etherion. Collect Etherion and claim rewards based on milestones, as such:

Rewards are awarded upon passing milestones, not upon competing classic maps.

presentation of rewards when receiving them is beyond bad. It simply does not feel rewarding.

Not speaking of the random selectors which pop-up when you see the overview of your rewards.

You reach milestones by collecting Ethereion
Each classic path gives exactly = 1 Ethereion
Each Elder quest have = 1 Elder Ethereion + 2/3/4 classic Ethereion ;
Both elder and classic act as same Ethereion point

It would be much less confusing if we actually "claimed" them then just receiving them when hitting the milestone. For a while I did not realize I was even earning rewards.

Summoners I realise something. When I compared the Classic & Elder rewards, I counted. On classic the sig. stones for 6-star are 4 and in the Elder it shows 5 sig. stones🔍. Then I went on the milestone to count and the total is 5 on the milestone which means the classic & elder rewards are mixed in one which hit a very had blow on my motivation😓.

Yes, the rewards are not added together. What you see on classic is what you can get for only exploring classic. What you see in elder is the max rewards you can earn after exploring elder whether you explore classic or not.
