incursion event, not getting completion point

I recently joined an alliance and waited the cool down period for getting milestone rewards and all the other rewards from the current events. I did the incursion event, got to zone 30 but I'm not getting any points at all, could anyone help me or explain please?

Are you sure you changed the sector to symbiote sector before you started and didn’t go in to the default sector 1?

Did you also complete it prior to joining this alliance?

You can only gets points for one alliance, so if you did the symbiote incursion event already on the other alliance, you won't be able to get points for any other alliance that you jumped to. It's only one point per event. Also make sure you do the right incursion, there's a few post about not getting the points due to joining the wrong incursion. It has to be only Steve with a 3 star or lower synergy team only.
