also no key in the webshop like usual
Im happy if it is. You shouldnt be able to get them that easily.
Also this box is unit based, not key based
well the pieces were content based and now they're unit based so how are these different from buying them in the shop
also this being a temporary box thing means if people miss this, then they are in the same situation as before of not having a permanent way to acquire pieces
I guess it’s specific to King Groot because of Halloween? Would love to know if there’ll be others. I really need Vision pieces.
It’s quite a lot better than paying 5k units outright.
Its nothing more than another way for them to try and drain unit stashes before cyber weekend. The usual M.O.
There are already 2 other ways to get them - Units and Radiance.
This is a better deal than buying them for 5000 units straight up, but the Radiance deal is still better in my opinion. For the cost in Radiance it takes to buy the piece in the store, you could buy 2250 units over three months, and have a little left over to contribute to buying 750 more units the next month. That tells me that a piece is valued at about 2500 units at this point. Which means you're spending 2500 units on the rest of the stuff in that box. But I don't think the other stuff is that impressive. If they had thrown in a Deathless awakening gem, then it would look better. Or some other rarer items.
To sum it up more clearly, if you wanted to buy 5000 units in the Radiance store to get this box, you'd have to spend about double the amount of Radiance it takes to just buy the Deathless piece in the Radiance store.
I love everything about the deathless but I won’t pay 5k for them
The Chances to get the one thing that I want is 0.20 percent. This is not a deal, this is a slap in the face. Only want 1 of the 10 items, yet the percentage isn't 10%, it is 0.20%. Also, table is wrong. There are 10 items but table items don't reflect that. All 10 items should roll up to 100%, but more like 118.64%. So, actual chance for what we want over chances go like this...
Could my math be wrong...maybe...but point is the same. In actuality would be spending 5000 units anyway on top of 2500 for this junk.
That's the drop rates on your first pull...you get everything there at 5k units and have a chance to get the 7* piece in fewer units. Your math isn't wrong, it just isn't starting from the correct point and giving you an answer that can't possibly be there.
It's stupid to have drop rates on a box that has a fixed number of items. If there are 10 items in the box, you should have a 10% chance of pulling any one of them. Make it like real life. If you're calling it a box, in real life, if you have a box of 10 items, each one has an equal chance of being drawn.
Once you pull one, it disapears so you odd is 1 in 9, than 1 in 8and so on. That's why it's not 10% the whole time, the odds get better as more items are removed. Don't forget it was 5k units per piece one time. So this deal is better since you get more than King Groot with 5k unit.
Does the event only allows to open 5 boxes?
