Banquet or Cyber weekend event

How much are you planning to spend on these events? Which event is your favorite? How many units have you saved for these events so far? I currently have 15k units and am saving more.

Currently a very hard slogged 38k having not spent it all on a 7* HT in the summer, plus 3.5m in chips. Will wait and see what it looks like before ploughing in but will drop it all if it looks good. Don’t have my first 7* R4 yet, although Ive got the T7 basic for it, so I don’t know how tempting a R5 will be assuming that’s what arrives.

Banquet was awesome last year, a game-changer for me. Account was night and day by the time it was over, suddenly I was viable in the game again. I spent 19,000 units last year and that basically maxed it out. I'll spend it again if it's just as good as last year. I saved more than that but that doesn't mean I want to spend more than that.

The milestones alone was worth the unit spend, where crystals were bonus. no other sells gives you that much unit to item values.
Again, its relative to individuals expectation.

They thought the banquet was fantastic for their account. They voice their opinions on how they thought it was great for their account. Other people (you) are now trying to argue that his thoughts on his own account and how he feels it progressed are wrong?

It's like people saying they enjoy certain things and you come along and tell them they aren't enjoying those things because you don't. You're not that important, sorry.

If this isn't a microcosm for the way the world is currently working, I'm not sure what is.

The only way you can believe the last banquet was good, is if it was your first banquet or a starting account. It was the worst banquet period, they even admitted it wasn't good, they had to create a market to even out the drop rates that were unbelievably bad.

I don't understand your point of defending an opinion that even the devs admit it missed a mark....

Nope. I got several 7-star god tier champs from the banquet like Serpent, Bullseye, Luke Cage, Domino, Negasonic, Spider-Punk. I got a ton more R2s and R3s from all the rank-up mats. Got so much gold that I paid for all these rank-ups and ended with more gold than I started with anyway. Also got trophy 7-star Vision and 6-star Weapon X. And a Cosmic Awakening Gem.

pretty underwhelmed by what was hinted at during the stream yesterday for CW. I’m sitting on 36k units and doubt I’ll use much of them for CW in the hopes that banquet is better this year.

It's kind of a weird situation for me, because I have plenty of R4s at this point, so not sure I need to spend units or cash for more R4s. Especially because we keep getting a steady stream of rank-up mats from radiance and content every month.

And then as far as champs, Yondu/Jane/Skrull/Nimrod/Abs aren't really necessary for me. They're cool, but not game-breaking….

This is what happened with the Samurai sale. I usually get the big deals but I skipped that one, and it hasn't really mattered at all. But I guess we'll have to wait and see what the actual offers are and who else is gonna be in the banquet selector

I got 25,500 units now. Grinding all arena milestones from here on out, getting the unit pass, etc.

I’m fed up with this company, and am certainly not spending like I used to. At most, I might get an Odin? Probably not.

I think Abs is a great champ. But he won’t have the same prowess on defense in BG’s as years past. Also, the game is so broken, too, making intercepting so unreliable. So, at this point, the top milestone doesn’t interest me much.

Because Nimrod is pretty useless against new age mutants. And although Jane looks interesting, she’s not a “must-have.” Meanwhile, I have no interest in Yondu, and almost no interest in Skrull.

Only Kingpin or Kate will change this.
