I used Bullseye. Quick solo. It's the assault battery node. You have to knock him down with a special attack to "empty the battery" and all stored damage will be done in a large burst. Edit: Bamajd beat me to it.

I restarted almost 10x and used 7* r4 virtuoso and it's impossible for me to gain power, I tried everything, intercept, knockdown, powerful attack, I can't seem to gain power by any means whatsoever.

Make sure you're far from the defender when the root or be rooted timer goes off. Once the defender is rooted, you can whiff a few attacks to gain power. It's the only way to gain power in the fight. Once you have some power knock him down with your special and you'll do damage. Repeat this process until he's done.

thinking likely a translation issue for Maestro? same as the “whiffing attacks” misunderstanding, which has to be a hell of a idiom to translate. (for what it’s worth @Asyalol kinda love “hitting the void”, planning on using that in the future)
