BigBlue Signing Off

Like many of you… these posts never made sense to me when I saw them. But now that I hit that point in my MCOC tenure there’s a bit of clarity to it… you invest time, effort, money, and a sense of community into a thing… you feel the need to give it closure, and that’s where I’m at.

At the end of the day… this really is a good game. So much strategy and interesting interaction out of swipe swipe tap. It’s one of my favorite marvel gameplay experiences… beating the GM in act 6 pre-nerfs is a favorite gamer moment… but sadly it’s run by a toxic girlfriend of a company and I’m no longer having fun and I don’t seeing it ever getting better… I’d love to say, it’s not you it’s me… but that’d be a lie, it’s totally you Kabam.

Never play testing things, never quality checking your work, never using money your players invest in fixing the AI, the lag, the frame rate skipping, never taking the fighting bugs seriously…. All many of the reasons I’m walking away.

I hope you do better for my friends that keep playing because it’s more for them that I post this. I want them to enjoy the hobby I used to enjoy, but I fear it’s too late for me.

To my fellow players If I was lucky enough to play with you, I really did have a great fun doing it, and I wish you the best.

To the other forum fiends and white knights, all the best going forward. I’ll miss trading jokes, barbs and debates with you all.

And here’s me signing off, thanks for the memories some I know the pixels won’t last.

And like any post I made I’m sure I’ve missed more than a few typos, but what evs. All the best 🫡

Hopefully they will get it one day,..but I don’t blame you for doubting that.

I am one foot out the door myself,..just hanging by a thread,…but then i guess I’m actually irrelevant because,…I don’t spend and don’t care,…so i’m just not invested like i used to be.

May the itch to play never return, for Kabam is an absolute disgrace, and they are committed to being repulsive until the wheels fall off.

The game is freezing all the time during fights. I'm dreading the next war season. My alliance is the only reason I haven't quit this game.

May you find some peace from the frustration that is MCOC and Kabam.

For the first time in 3 years, I didn't log in to the game for over 48 hours. Ive played religously through everything theyve done, but it's just too far now. They've lost the plot and it is kinda sad to see how many older accounts are moving on.

Take care. I came to the forums to say the same thing. Wondering if anyone was rate quitting because of the BGs meta. I’m sticking around for one last AW with my alliance, then they’ll have the holidays to get a replacement.

I like the new BG meta. No more seeing 6 star zemo destroy my whale defenders. Now we all die, and whoever dies less badly wins the round…

Oh and good luck OP. No one should spend time on a hobby that they have so many complaints about. It's not a job or marriage. A couple of issues in the game irritate me to the point that I also contemplate quitting, but so far the positive things I get out of the game outweigh my frustrations with the negative things. If that balance changes, I hope I can just leave immediately instead of turning into BeastDad and Ahmynuts….

It wouldn’t be such a terrible meta if they didn’t change the AI. Meanwhile, the lags and frame skipping on your way to losing a perfect intercept are quite frustrating. And these constant, bizarre stutter-steps to bait special intercepts are pure evil.

Thor Jane Foster reworks along with mystery reveals for banquet aren’t gonna save this game. Posts like these keep giving Kabam all the red flags and sirens they need to course correct. And they just won’t do it.
