I still have good fun with Mcoc.

I felt boring a bit till they introduced new monthly quest and Crucibles, 9.3 etc. and many interesting champs (Still feel monthly quest too long)

If they fix the AI on top of these changes, then I'll say an 8.5.

They're making some genuinely interesting moves and doing things that could be great for the game, but it's all undercut by the fact that we actually have to play the game in order to interact with any of the new stuff

Basically he is saying

Kabam is listening to our feedback

Kabam will invest more money to make the game crash less, less bugs etc

Kabam will be more pro player and implement more pro player moves like the stellar forge champion acquisition without the need for money

Kabam will make MCOC a great game for players

ideas are great, but that is trumped by performance issues, ..if you can’t fix them then it sours all the rest.

The amount of lag/freezing, and times the game crashed and kick me out to my home screen during my run yesterday in EQ was not “acceptable “…imo.

So you've got an issue with them not wanting to invest more in people that want to do less? Make that make sense. They're crossing out another week of AQ and giving away several free champs. How are those items not wins for casual and the almighty and super special (to mommy) free to play players?

I think the highest Kabam can score is 6 until the AI is addressed. And from everything I saw, it wasn’t.

I’m interested in the new approach to several things, have started saving titans for Dr. Strange’s Titan pool arrival…. But the core issue EVERYONE complains about is still hanging out there.

6.5/10 until they fix the **** AI lol overall it was a good event, I am excited for what's coming especially the new Stellar chase but the fact that they refuse to acknowledge AI being **** is a big yikes for me

Let me just use a few examples here real quick

Exhibit A:

Easiest fight on the planet with the fury from the meta, AI however decided that instead of dashing in it would just walk up to me and light intercept my own light intercept. Not once, not twice, but four times in a row until I died, we all know dash intercepts are unreliable these days so then wtf am I supposed to do here? How do I intercept when this AI which appears to have been designed by Elon Musk himself decides to walk up to me instead of dashing in? Just play the guessing game I guess do I go for dash intercept or light intercept, guess wrong and you're **** cause up here in Quantum-Mysterium losing 20%-30% hp is most of the time an automatic loss

Anyways enough ranting on that one lol

Exhibit B:

R4 sig 200 Yelena down in 50 secs with a r3 Jean because she actually dashed in every single time instead of walking up to me slowly just to throw a light attack, barely any hp lost due to AI behaving like it normally should.

Bonus:

One of the worst trap defenders in the entire game taken down by a 6* punching up with class disadvantage because she actually dashed in and allowed me to intercept her with my lights and my counter evade when I needed to switch off that protection.

8. I haven’t watched a live Twitch show. I downloaded the app for the rewards. I enjoyed the show with the competition of the best players. Karate Mike puts a lot of effort and emotion. At the end I saw who is the CEO of the game and he was grateful and he said that the team was interested in the players opinions and that they plan to continue working for more ideas for the future.

My only issue with that is the word "will", instead of "is". These aren't new issues, and it's not like he needed to wait for this event to make this announcement.

I still love mcoc, and hope the best for it's continued longevity.

I'll also add one other concern, it's becoming insanely complex and often just plain confusing. I honestly couldn't imagine picking this game up for the first time right now, I'd be so lost. Hell I've been playing since the beginning and even I feel a bit lost at times. I just hope the complexity (which is growing by the month) doesn't deter new players.

Overall, I believe there's still a very strong community and enjoyment level. 8/10 for the future.

sincere really?he said the exact same generic stuff kabam always says.we here you,we are listening,we care.they always say this the continue to do messed up stuff that nobody wants even after the negative feedback from the community.that speech was 100% scripted and nothing sincere about it in my opinion

Nothing really matters until the game is actually ENJOYABLE and Playable, with no bugs, dropped inputs, and a player-friendly AI. So no rating by me.

But, I got the imression that the game is going to be way more complicated, with even more rank up materials to chase and even more incoming money offers for a bunch of different materials, just to get a power up to your champions, that is not exciting at all, and certainly not "listening to the players" stuff.

The sad thing is that it looks like Kabam is out of ideas to make the game more interesting for older players to keep enjoying it, the only strategy is "keep making up power levels to keep the whales interested". Even the mechanics borrowed from other fighting games are not the ones that will get you hyped and refreshed, they add a second power bar wow, what a deal. No. You want to add something that will be mindblowing? Add the jump mechanic. Jump, jump and shoot, fly, dash, etc etc.

It was a good two days of streams. New champ reveals look exciting and the fact that there are currently no plans for eight stars is a huge win. A free titan that will hopefully be something good when I open it in three weeks also helps.

I'll call it a 7.5 out of 10. There were a lot of good promises but until we get some real movement on connection errors and AI I'll hold my full judgement. I will say I feel better about going into Banquet now than I did two months ago.

I'm actually really hopeful. Kabam has made some big missteps (especially this year) but it seems like they really are trying to improve things for the better. I'd say 8/10
