How long have you been playing and do you think you will be playing till 2030?

Especially with this deal the Supreme Collection Reward looks like it will take you almost 5 years to do especially owning

As the last milestone.. I can already see 8* in the game by that point and probably t6-7a and probably tier 8,9,10 basic catalyst

Especially with other top mobile games like clash of clans still going strong.

A lot of marvel games have passed away but others like strike force and future fight are still going. I recently played my old account on both games and there’s not really much going on.

Strike force - The power creep is crazy in strike force you basically need a full team there’s no such thing as pick and choose your 5 man squad not really a team builder and every team counters the previous meta teams

Future fight - I get bored doing all the crazy amount of daily things to do every day in future fight. Theres SO much things to do every single day. It’s basically a checkmark and do this everyday and have the game on auto.

Those are just what I’m getting from playing those games but I think mcoc will outlast both games.

Mcoc has a good chance to get to year 20 And where do you think the game will be at in the next 1-5 years from now?

Do you think a 15 year old mobile game/engine like mcoc will even be relevant or do you think there should be a Mcoc 2 with updated engine all around.

Gonna be crazy adding another 120 ish marvel characters in the next 5 years aswel.

I’ll prob be back and check this form yearly till 5 years from now aswel!! Eventually mcoc might hit a 20 year anniversary, how crazy would that be?

Start from 2016, left in 2017, comeback in 2024, stay until.. idk, but in 5 years? Probably not. But I want to see this game in the next 5 years.

I started playing 1 year after launch

When it was first launched, I saw the game but I did not have time to play games, I was early in my career

When my career stabilized, I had some free time and I decided to try out the game

I come from League of Legends background so when I first play MCOC, I know what is BS what is good

MCOC before battlegrounds was just boring, everyone was quitting bcos it gets boring after a while

MCOC after battlegrounds became interesting for me but now it's become BS with the meta and AI, you need to intercept but AI is passive

Even today not many ppl play MCOC, by mobile games standards, 1 million playerbase isn't a lot, the whales are the ones propping up the game by spending, other similar games from MCOC have already shut down, Transformers and Disney characters MCOC style fighting games did not perform successfully

Marvel IP is what's making this game different

As long as Marvel movies are in demand, ppl will look for Marvel games to play after watching the movies

Disney movies are making money, but the main audiences are parents bringing their kids, these kids are too young to play mobile games, the parents aren't interested in Disney fighting games as well, Disney Mirrorverse shut down

Transformers movies did great in the box office as well but Transformers IP isn't as deep as comics like Marvel or DC, how many characters do ppl know besides Optimus Prime and Megatron, Transformers Forged to fight shut down as well

Marvel IP hits all the sweet spots, very popular, many famous characters, the movies are about heroes fighting villains so fighting games are naturally popular as well

MCOC does have the potential to last many more years, especially with RDJ back as Doctor Doom next year

Been playing for 8 years. Some of my alliance members have been with me for 8, 7, 6, 5 years! It's such long time.

Mad to think that I seldom check my facebook - where all members of my family are, but I still log into mcoc daily.

It's not a hobby. It's part of my day. At some point, no matter what's going on, I will pop by the alli.

Objectively, I have a ton of criticism toward this game and this company. There are so many things that could/should be done better.

But ultimately, I simply love this game. I love it that there's something unique, almost magical, that attracts certain types of people that I get on so well with (goes without saying the forums are a bit of an exception lol).

I hope this game lasts till my alli mates and I are all gray and have grandchildren lol That we still get to be serious about this silliness that brings us together.

I started playing after watching Thor Ragnarok back in 2017. I remember scrolling through Marvel mobile games and stumbling onto MCOC, not knowing it would still be part of my life eight years later. (One of my first real struggles was Hela. I had no idea why she refused to die. I sat there staring at the screen thinking, “Okay, this has to be a bug, right?”)

These days I’m Valiant and in a chilled, semi-retired alliance. I’ve taken a few breaks here and there, but somehow the game always pulls me back. After all these years, I’d really like to see it still going strong five years from now.

Depends on two things mainly for me: one how well they fix the **** AI, and two how well new alliance and solo competitive game modes turn out as well as endgame content. Then there’s also how well designed new chases are like the upcoming Stellar Forged one which while very similar to the Deathless also has a few differences which already make it a W in my book, chases aren’t as important as the other points I mentioned tho

I've been playing since just after the one-year anniversary. Not sure how much longer I'm going to play for. Depends on when they hurry up and put in the easier EQ options again.

I would like to keep playing this awesome game for many years to come. I found it really enjoyable. I don’t care if I’m not a top player. I play the game because it makes me feel good and forget the sadness that wants to defeat me. I don’t want to play other games. I found what I was looking for. I hope they listen to the players and fix the problems.

I've been playing since 2015. I'll be shocked if I'm still playing in 5 years (though I would have said the same 5 years ago). That said, I do not get the same enjoyment from the chase that I have in the past. Nothing that was mentioned at Summoner's Fest really got me excited about new content or champs. Not that they aren't trying and should be commended for trying to advance the game, I just think there is nothing they could really do to keep my interest long term. It's just kind of run its course for me. I'm growing more tired of forced engagement, so I may not quit the game, but I'm tired of alliance based things. And once I'm out of an alliance, I see my interest falling even further.

I've been playing since the beginning. I can play 10 more years god willing. I know this game isn't Elden Ring but as someone without the time/space/money for console games, mobile gaming is the only thing I can fit into my schedule. MCOC just fits in nicely.

That aside I'm not too worried about this games future. Kabam is clearly focusing on keeping the game alive, and I think (generally) they've done a good job at managing power creep. They just need to tone down the defenders.

9 going on 10 year player. i quit i wanna say from 2017-2020 give or take a year ( i played sparingly from 2020 until i started again). I picked it back up during nursing school in 2023 and haven't had thoughts of quitting since. I can see myself playing until the games goes away lol. I still enjoy this mobile game

As long as MCOC stays open for business, I'll probably be here. Sure, something earthshattering could happen in my life (maybe I get a life), but barring that, I just like playing the game. It's one of my comfort games. I have another such game that I've been playing longer than MCOC (Marvel Puzzle Quest), and while I quit my alliance and went suuuuuuper casual half a decade ago, I'm still playing a match or two almost every day despite that. When it comes to some games that I enjoy, I just get stuck in them for better or worse. And MCOC is such a game.

I do think there's enough value in the offer for people to unlock right now for it to be worth it if you're the sort of person who wouldn't mind picking up an Odin during a sale anyway. But half of the value is still extremely hard to gauge. There are a lot of stuff in the deal that looks new and shiny but will probably be more or less pointless by the time you actually get them. As such, I think the offer looks a lot more spectacular at first glance than it will probably be in the long run. But units are units, and 12K of them for 50 USD is a very good deal if you're fine with them being so insanely spread out.

I have been here since beta on multiple accounts. At 1st I was one of the sweaty try hards. My claim to fame was being in allainces with people like brutal dx and magus. I took a year break due to cancer. All clear now and I returned but my passion for the 5 accounts dropped and keeping up fell off but my love for the game is still here. Just keeping up with the top dogs has died.

This game, while it has faults, overall is a very good game or I wouldn't still be here plodding along. I refer to myself as pretend free to play where I don't spend but all gifts to me are gift cards which I use for this game. This current deal I will scoop up if still there when next giftcard comes about as it is good value already with what I automatically unlock at purchase.

Hopefully the game is around to collect everything over the years and the changes don't annoy me enough to go through with my rage quitting threats that the allaince has to calm me down at times.

I play less and less every day, I stopped spending alltogether, with the current AI issues, company's arrogance and monetizetion strategies that don t benefit casual spenders at all, I don t think so. I lose interest by the day, and the fest news of more power levels that supposed to…excite us? Nah.

Playing this mobile game in the next 5 years requires you to have a good paying job so you can spend to keep up with the other players in the game

Non spenders are going to suffer in the next 5 years or maybe even now already
