Cheating with Impunity

So usually I wouldn't post another player's IGN, but in this case the situation seems so ridiculous to me that I have to do it.

This player basically cheated throughout all of last season, including on multiple YT streams, and was reported by dozens of players.

And....nothing happened.

On top of stealing who knows how many points from honest players, he ended up C6 and got his radiance rewards, adding insult to injury by stealing the deserved C6 spot from the top M1 player, which then has a cascade effect (top M2 player should've been M1, top M3 should've been M2, top Q1 should've been M3, et cetera).

Where is the fairness in this? When Lagacy faced a modder on stream, someone from Kabam intervened mid-match and banned the modder right then and there. But this dude is allowed to just roam free and make a mockery of the competitive integrity of the game?

I have no idea what Kabam did or didn't do, so I can't speak on that. What I do know is reporting someone isn't enough. They have to back it up with the data. That, and it takes time to investigate.

that’s true, but in case of the Lagacy modder, the investigation took about ten seconds.

Because I saw it happen live, Lags doesn't get special treatment - I just happened to be there.

From what I can recall, this is the first I'm seeing of this guy, I'll get it taken care of.

I've had a few fights last season in BG where some of my champs had a health regen/gain, not sure if it was from willpower or something else, but in the last season I've ended some fights at 100% (surprising myself as well). I specifically remember 2 champs from my roster who did this - Count Nefaria and White Tiger (she's unawakened if that helps in any data), I think there were 2 more champs but I can't recall which ones. I thought for a change BG was working for me. Not sure if it was a bug, but I definitely ended some fights with full 100%

This was my gripe from earlier seasons, You were not here but I made plenty comments on kabam not removing the cheaters from leaderboard final standings.

Plenty of Cases I witnessed to know.

Rewards takes 2 days to come.

In these two days, plenty modders get banned, Plenty. But not a single legit player moves a rank.

I also know few modders who didn't get banned after a season. (1.5 year ago experiance). Lucky modders may survive getting banned, but I'm pretty sure they get the ban eventually.

Part of the issue you mentioned was what I used to be pissed about. The leaderboard.

I don't care anymore who gets what, get banned or not. But I'll support this as I had the same problems back in the day.

I think that’s the point though isn’t it. Everyone who isn’t friends with a Kabam employee and doesn’t get to hang out with them would have to take the L and report it through the recognised channels. Which is what should have happened with the Lags situation. You could have still banned him immediately following the fight, justice would have been served and no one could point fingers about preferential treatment.
