I hope Banquet 2025 is a little cheaper than last year. I’m having a tough time keeping up with everything financially :/

I think around 30k units might be required to acquire them. HT was around the same unit cost.

I don’t think KP and abs are in the same hemisphere as Torch or Dark Phoenix. If they hang a 30k+ unit price tag on the realm event to just get one, you are going to have a lot of folks rightfully ticked off after only 10k got you yondu.

Personally I am not going to stress or try though, if it's more than 15k units.. I didn't for torch.. I wouldn't for anyone else..

Given the shift in messaging during Brawl to make things more fun, I would expect at least one of the champs for 15k. If they go towards 30k for just one of them would be a huge hit to what they are saying they're trying to achieve.

Now if they really wanted to hype everyone up, 15+20k units for both would be an awesome change of pace.

To those saying anything over 20k you're probably wrong, couple of things I want to point out:

Current event gets you Yondu/Skrull basic + the first appearance dupe for only 15k.
They said they created first appearance champs with the intention of reducing the grind required for sales (after the Torch fiasco in July 4th by making first appearance the new thing that gets whales' attention basically), I'm pretty sure Mike even specifically said that it's so people no longer have to pay 32k units for a sale champ instead just 12k which was true for this current cyberweekend sale.
They mentioned early frontloaded milestones which so far has been completely true as well.

So, if they actually stay true to their word which I hope to God they do cause they did so well with the current sale, then the price tag on Abs will be around 15k-20k max. The first appearance however yes that one will probably go into the 30k-35k price range but unless you're a whale, you don't really need to spend that much, and comparing this to the Torch situation is just wrong because Torch is part of the reason they changed the sale format so much in the first place. So no, can't go off by the price tag on Torch because they made it very clear they wouldn't be selling sale champs for ridiculously high amounts of units anymore, that's what first appearance is for.

Also, another thing y'all are forgetting is that Abs isn't THE trophy champ for Banquet. The trophy champ is Punisher, that one you can absolutely expect to go into the 40k price range, maybe even higher if they lock him behind ranked rewards.

So my final guesses

Abs/KP basic: 15k -20k

Abs/KP first appearance: 25k - 35k

Punisher: 40k - ?

I never understood "Save for banquet". Year after year, unless you opened hundreds of crystals, you wouldn't get anything good. Even then, the return on investment has always been terrible.

Why are people so fascinated with Banquet? I will spend the min to get milestones in realm event, like 10k units or whatever, but no point going further.

10k units wont get one r4 in banquet. It gets you 2 in cyber unit deals.

Maybe this year it will be much better than previous years, but doubt it will have better value than current offers.

We could understood only after next live stream.

If they continued to show banquet art of 2025 (like last year feast banquet art & tried to waste their time by explaining every character in that artwork) & mentioned false statement to hype content of superior banquet crystal, then this yr crystal reward normally useless like last yr.

If they talk about last yr feedbacks on superior crystal & upgraded drop rate% on each category then it's quiet interesting (instead of defending with milestone rewards)

Game progressed to R4 champs, expects atleast R3 material stuffs with more drop rates only could give little hope among many spenders..

While the expected value of the SBCs were truly awful (which kinda killed the event's vibe), all the good stuff was actually loaded into the milestones, and unit-for-unit for spending ~13.2k units on banquet gave players sooooo much more stuff than Cyber at the time, so banquet 24 wasn't bad from a value aspect, but vibes-wise it was bad.

Because I've been through like 10 banquets, or whatever they were called in the beginning. Not one has been better than cyber offers in the same year. Hell, even than the one the year before.

*gifting. We had gifting before banquet. Gifting crystals, banquet crystals, they all sucked. Even if this year they are much better than before, like kabam promised, the value for units spent will be worse than current cyber offers.

There needs to be a realm event or something like it, that has crazy good milestones. Titan nexus, AGs, sigs, champ selector. Stuff than you dont find in radiance store.
