Help me understand this situation!

I was playing War today and fought against Serpent on node 46 with Pavitr (Awakened). I was 10000% sure that Pav will kill Serpent because I threw sp2 when he was at 24%. Serpent didn’t die and he got his death immunity and threw sp3 and gained almost 30% health back. After that I saw the node description, that Aspect of Evolution grants the defender 5% ability accuracy. So my question is, 5% Ability Accuracy made him go death immune? or am I missing something?

That means I can't reliably use Pav against Node 46 Serpent?

it’s five percent AA increase every time they fill a bar of power and it’s cumulative. How many bars do you think serpent gained over the course of the fight?

Aspect of Evolution is +5% AA each time he gains a bar of power, stacking, so on someone like Serpent it builds up AA fast. Also his death immunity is base 125% chance, so while it can’t trigger at 0% net AA it’s an increased chance with partial AA (which is where you end up with Aspect of Evolution cancelling out the Marked)
