Kabam makes a mood where you can fight against other accounts equal to yours. Makes it basically playing a friendly where you gain no progression 🙄. So what was the point? You do the competitive one and now you only face accounts full of R4s. Thank you kabam yet again not listening and doing something totally different.

It is exactly what they said it would be, including the fact that it actually gives you points toward the current extended season event.

Kabam listened. It was you that didn’t listen.

People asked for “fair match ups.” They got them.

It also happened more or less exactly how I said it would happen:

You aren’t going to be getting competitive rewards if you don’t actually compete for them.
You will end up in an isolated part of the game mode protected from the main competition.
You will hurt the players in lower progression tiers who actually want to compete.

Kabam didn’t do something “completely different.” They did what (some) players asked for. If anyone asked for it but can’t accept the consequences of that choice, that’s a them problem.

If someone didn’t ask for this and think there are deleterious consequences, blame the players who demanded it. Over and over and over and over and over for years with no regard for the practical realities of what they were asking for. I actually advocated against it, but at the end of the day it doesn’t really affect me much at all.

What's the issue? You wanted to play against accounts only your size and now you can to your hearts content. If you wanted to do that AND earn the same rewards then sorry, but that's not how it works. People were warned about this when they demanded it every damn season.

To be just a bit fair, just a little bit, I think they should have allowed unrank matches to count towards the 48hr objectives at least...

The issue is, people wanted better Matches in the actual competition. Opening a separate meta with no Rewards at all comes off as a bit flippant and ignoring the argument.

Now, I'm not taking up the torch of arguing for anything. I'm simply explaining why it's offensive on their end. I agree things are the way they need to be.

This is what I also thought too.

From Kabam info, the Unranked BG was exactly that unranked toward VT and GC, but thought it would count toward the 48hrs Solo Objectives, as a way in encouraged newer players to try out BG.

As it is now, not really sure what is the point for Cav (and below) players to do BG.

Worst part for them is they can't even try to do VT if they want too.

This doesn't affected players like us, but sure feel like a strange implication imp tbh

Wait it doesn't count for the 48 hour objectives? I thought that was the one thing it did count towards (not that I would do it until give up for the season)

From what i heard it doesn't, it just gives point on the solo event... I might be wrong; but i was lead to believe 48hr objectives don't work.

I dunno I just don't understand the point of creating a whole new side BG just for amusement value. It's like an arena with no units ...

I just have a look at the Announcement again, and there is definitely an mistake by Kabam on the current active Solo Objective.

As stated from here Cav and lower players main source of reward would be the Trophy Token from the Solo Objective. Without it they would have no access to Trophy Token as they can't participate in VT & GC.

This would mean that the current active Sojo Objective is incorrect have and not been update to match the new changes.

@Kabam (Osaurus) Rex and @KabamPinwheel , could you confirm this is the case, cause Cav and lower players are missing out their rewards.

So yep I was right.

KabaKabam first set of Solo Objectives was bug and was not updated to reflected the changes to BG.

It come and gone pretty quietly hey 😉
