Frustrating

After about a week of deliberating I decided today to buy an odin. So I did and excitedly opened the game to be greeted by 3-4 generic 6 star gems. Yup I bought the lower tier by accident. I don't like the fact that they are even in the store.For this exact reason, its confusing and stuff like this happens. Its a shame I like the summoners market, there's good benefit to buying on there, but from now on ill stick to the in store game to avoid this situation. Im sure kabam will fix this when support gets my ticket. I haven't opened any crystals or consumed any items. But not a great way to have my Thanksgiving go. Frustrating.Happy Thanksgiving summoners.

to be fair you’re spending $100 maybe be a little more careful and look at what you’re buying yes does it add a lot of clutter having the lower tier stuff in the market yeah but you should still probably pay more attention when dropping that much

You might think your being funny. But your not. Its quite literally just as simple and yes, constructive, to tell the person, to double check before you purchase. Consumerism 101 my guy. Nobody's fault but your own.

Usually doing a ticket for something like that before you open any cristals use any items or units from wrongly purchased packet is quickly resolved, but only if you didn't use anything from that package to make it hard to impossible to fix. I was surprised to get a ticket sorted in 5-10 mns after I create it and my rewards were available in the game in less than 30 mns. For some things which are easy to check take back, swap or whatever you need kabam support team is spot on. It's always worth trying. GL

Yea I didn't expect it resolved quickly with the holiday and all. And at the end of the day its not a huge deal to me. Ill just buy another one. I just dont need /want the six star stuff I recieved.

I really like how the other people act like they ain't never made a mistake or a purchasing era. Sour hateful awful people. Probably had rotisserie chicken for Thanksgiving.

We have all made mistakes. But what separates most of us is how we respond to those mistakes. You go straight to blaming Kabam. You don't take responsibility for selecting the wrong package. You're now lashing out because people are calling you on your BS. The tiers are separated well enough in the Web store. Be mad at yourself. You picked the wrong odin.

As someone who has done the exact mistake as OP, I'm gonna go against the grain and be on their side. Kabam has structured things up a bit more from when I did the mistake - back then everything was just mushed together and it was a lot harder to even see which offer was Valiant and which was Thronebreaker - but I think the problem I did was to go down to the bottom of the Market and either pick up some of the free stuff there or put in some promo code, and then assumed that whatever was above me was "my" tier of offers. I already knew what was in the offers, so I double-checked that I picked up the right offer (ie Black Panther's treasure instead of an Odin or whatever), but I didn't triple-check that it was the right progression rank. Because if you're used to buying things from the in-game store, where there aren't offers from different progression tiers, then it's not something you think about.

One thing that Kabam could do, that would both prevent stuff like this from happening in the future and just generally declutter the Market, is to just show one progression-tier's offers at a time and then allow us to switch tier if we want to (with the standard being your current tier). That way, you would have to actively choose to go to the wrong tier in order to make a mistake, which is far less likely than with the current system.

For OP: don't touch anything that you got from the offer and just send a ticket to Kabam support about it. Like I said, I've done the same mistake you've done and they were very helpful in terms of fixing it.

To my shame the same thing happened to me, I put in a ticket and within like 4 hours they had me squared away. Submit a ticket, they'll fix it don't open anything.
