Shame on you Kabam

Your resolution was by far the worst one for not only the players who weren't "lucky" enough to take advantage of this issue but for the game and its balance as a whole.

Never once have I considered stopping playing this game as much as I am at this moment.

You've lost all the goodwill you gained back from the Summoners fest with a great chunk of the community. I hope you're happy about that.

You really looked into 14,000,605 possible futures and chose the 1 that would piss off the most people

Other players getting free sigs on 7* Serpent and Onslaught etc while you are getting nothing means you are disadvantaged in game

You could also use this logic to say, well anyone who hoarded a couple hundred thousand shards probably has all the special release champs already so who cares…

I get what you’re saying about the actual impact potentially being less than what some of us are speculating, but the generallack of fairness remains.

There's one very easy solution for this. Give EVERYONE a compensation containing the amount of 7 star shards they had in their account at the original rollover time, regardless of the number of crystals they did or didn't open

It is a new month, got to start in the L column. I could have saved up from stream announcement, its prob like 20 7s worth. I figured I have most of the champs added I want so I kept opening, but now that would be an extra 400 free sigs, of course it clowned me.

How about nexus crystals? im assuming valiants and paragons are also included but I dont think thats confirmed. This works great for people who just opened using 7* shards but.

Maybe give out Selectors based on the amount of opened crystals. For example up to 10 crystals you get 1 Selector or something like that. Basically every solution other than this

That’s what is wild to me — if you want to 1-to-1 the compensation, fine. No worries

But how do they just look past the concept that other people are affected by this — I don’t need compensation. I am baffled at how they don’t understand that 1-to-1 really impacts this game

We literally just had this situation with Zola and they extended the window and came up with a reasonable solution. Yet now they decided to switch gears and give double ups to some people and no similar opportunity to others.

I have no issues with people who got the compensation, it's not their fault, and they deserve something. The issue is with Kabam and their endless incompetence and standardless decisionmaking.

Because they only care about the top spenders who already have maxxed out 7 stars everywhere. That group isn’t. negatively impacted so they don’t care.

I usually try not to get too deep into the weeds because for all I know, maybe only, what, 1 percent of the player base opened crystals before the hot fix went live. Maybe the damage isn’t as horrible as it could be

But as has been noted by others, there is SOME impact. Like if someone, IDK, pulled a Serpent on the front end and the dupes it in the 1-to-1. I mean, that’s SOMETHING

Of course it means something. If it doesn’t mean anything, why don’t we get 15 7 star crystals every day in the daily event? Why are they rewards for completing content?

It’s just sheer gas lighting to pretend there is no impact. But that’s where we are at - and that’s probably why I am as disgusted as anything. We get a big group hug moment and write ups from summoners fest… and the second something goes sideways, we are right back to the old Kabam playbook

NGL: I was shocked they decided to 1-to-1 this. I have been here since Week 1. I have seen everything that has happened in this game. The most time I have ever taken off was maybe three weeks during the month Ghost Rider was released. Other than that, I log in and do something nearly every day.

I don’t want the players who opened before the hot fix went live to be disadvantaged. Not at all.

But Sig levels matter, dupes matter, Titan shards matter. Every massive opening affects the game.

I am just surprised that of all the options that were available, and probably none were great, this was where they landed

Whoever opened faulty crystals deserved to be made whole but how do you do it without alienating everyone else? This solution was bound to cause "the other monkeys got more treats and now we're mad".

The solution seems both fair and a big overcorrection at the same time. Rough situation for everyone…

So you are only counting the Titan shards from the 20 free crystals?... What about the initial 20 that most likely had more dups since the new ones weren't added?... Yay math

Imagine you saved for 5 months and your comp is 1:10. You'd be extremely pissed so Kabam HAD to do this and their hands were tied.
