Kabam Hypocrisy Exposed

Kabam, remember when the Zola bug happened, and you said you didn't want to give free windfalls to "lucky" players who had nothing going on in their lives to prevent them from opening the titans as soon as the pool updated?
So why are you now rewarding similarly "lucky" players?
Was there a turnover in the game team such that the people who made the Zola decision are no longer there, and new people are making this current bugged crystal decision?

You don't know how much it affects me, your deduction is based on how much it affects you.

Its funny you used the fart in a pool example, farts don't stay in the water do they? They bubble up to the surface and dissapear. Urine would be the right example. Like sig stones and dups urine stays in the water. You might argue that the ratio of urine and thousands of gallons of water makes it insignificant, doesn't stop from being disgusting. Doesn't stop people from using chemicals that turn urine into different colors to single out the disgusting behavior and stop people from doing it.

Bottom line is your opinion an argument is it doesn't affect people that much, you are wrong. There is no way for you to know if it affects meand how much it affects me. Your argument is based on Kabam taking this direction because its non damaging. You don't know that, as you clearly stated many times you don't work for them. You want to have good faith and believe they are doing the best for everybody, good for you. It doesn't mean its true, they are taking the worse solution because its the only solution.

The compensation is way too big for "everyone" to get it. It was a mistake, the main thing is fixing it so it doesnt happen in the future. Limiting the fallout is obviously preferred, why would Kabam give everyone so many crystals back?

I didn't say people should feel one way or the other. I said I would rather people be honest about their feelings instead of exaggerating the overall effects of this because it's a bit asinine. It's not affecting others to the effect that has been portrayed the last few days. I suppose you could call that a difference of opinion, but I've seen people blow all kinds of things out of proportion to get some kind of means to an end over the years.

It's compensation for an issue, and it applies to the people that were affected by the issue. It's not going to throw the game out of whack. It just feels unfair because some are getting it and not others, and that kind of fairness is never guaranteed, in this game or in life.

You are absolutely right, the main problem is fixing it from happening again because it is too big of a compesantion for a few or everybody. The problem is that issues like this are not a first time occurrence. It's not the first time a claw back is needed and they are not able to do it. The only times they actually tried hard to claw back something was when they actually sold something like catalysts. They shut down the servers for that, issues like this they don't.

10 years, you would expect them to at least be able to update a crystal content without issues (2nd time it happened recently Titan and Basic) or at least have a solution for a mistake after 10 years...

Bingo! Thats why they are doing this. The want everyone to buy crystals at the start. They wont be bugged but they will get your money. If you dont think this was done on purpose you were not around a few years back when paragon crystals came out. People would by them just because they would get cav crystals then Kabam would send you paragon crystals as comp. They want people to buy banquet crystals hoping for this bug.

Why is it to big for everyone to get? That makes zero sense. Most people it would be 1 or 2.

The real issue is kabam trying to be pleasure with everybody so when kabam is not, players began to make several posts like this, the compensate meaning doesn't align with extend a bugg in a way everyone can get a compensation, if you did not open any crystals when the crystal was bugged, why should you get a compensation?, anybody who opened bugged crystals didn't know the crystals were bugged, we just opened to get a chance to pull one of the newest champs

I mean you can use the "life isn't fair" line to dismiss anything anyone ever says. Talk about having "asinine" opinions… Good thing that people whose opinions actually matter in this game (as opposed to forum dwellers like you and I) actually care about fairness in this game and made videos articulating the issue with this.

Clawbacks have too many knock on effects. I agree, this issue never needs to happen and changes definitely have to be made so that it never happens again.

But giving crystals to everyone is ludicrous. (not saying you said it but plenty others feel justified to getting it)

Actually, there is a very simple solution. Instead of a crystal that opens, a Nexsus Titan will contain new heroes. A Nexsus 7y crystal will contain new heroes. No matter how many you have opened, you are guaranteed two new heroes. This would be ir. 2-3One general throwing stone for everyone, and this is the price of that mistake. Justice for everyone.
