How About a Meta Attacker?

And by that…I mean Dr. Strange.

I know, I know: I’m a glutton for punishment to hope for him to be good even as a niche counter. Cue up Lucy and the football and I am poor Charlie Brown.

But I’d like to think this is a “can’t miss with the buff” situation for a beloved and long-suffering champ.

Give him Corvus-like persistent charges. Give him Nico-like ways to use them versus certain classes. Keep some version of his phases because that’s just part of the Sorceror crew.

Just make him good. Very very good. Very very very good. For once, how about a meta attacker—after all of the Serpents, Bullseyes, and Zolas—please deliver a true Sorceror Supreme who’s a joy to play.

I think Strange is gonna be a top mystic attacker in this "buff immunity is key" moment. And that is gonna open the road for new op cosmic defenders who are immune to buff immunity, that will culminate with stellar forged Doom

I like the idea of a more elegant version of Enchantress’ spells. Kabam often needs two champs to get a concept right. If he could cast a bunch of different effects, it would be very, very cool. Provided it’s simpler and cleaner to execute than Enchantress play style.

Book of Vishanti and whatnot. Give the man access to his bag of tricks in a fun way.

If they make him complex then he could be a defender though, but we need a 5/5 attacker Dr Strange

that’s the design challenge, IMO. Give him a lot of capabilities but find a way to keep it simple to execute.
