You can't ask a Quest Designer to fix a character bug, or the designers of Alliance Wars Seasons to be focussing on an engineering task, like fixing lagging in certain areas. Hey Miike, What would you resort to if lets say you ranked up your favorite champ (Capt Marvel) to the highest level, utilizing your most valuable resources ranking up this character. Now, your favorite character you come to realize is BROKEN. You cant even play her properly because the specials get blocked. You report it and wait. Wait one week, one month, one year and even MORE. You continue to get told that "they are looking into it" and it's "more complicated than it seems". This issue goes on for more than a year. Sometimes reporting falsely that it's being fixed. Now you see those same people continue developing new content, fixing bugs that benefit you, the player, but that issue that actually matters to you is left in the dust. What good does it do asking for an update on your original thread if you have already waited years for this to get fixed. Not even a character specific rank down ticket can be given, why? Who knows. Why cant more resources be hired? Its a very simple solution. Can you honestly say that people have been "actively" working on this bug when it takes years to complete? Honestly Mike what would you do? I played an MMO before where a persistent bug affected one kind of character type, such that this character type's strongest abilities often times simply failed to operate at all randomly. The devs claimed to try to fix it, but it persisted for several years. I myself contributed to testing and brainstorming regarding the problem. When the problem was finally resolved, it turned out to have almost nothing to do with any of the suggested sources of the problem: it was a subtle race condition in the spawning code for the engine that was impossible to reproduce except under certain live conditions, and no content designer could realistically fix it without entirely new technical mechanics that were not added to the game until years later for different purposes. Sometimes these things are simple. Sometimes they are not simple. It is impossible for the players to know which is which. And while technically speaking you could just hire more resources, brand new resources hired today would likely be unproductive for a very long time. It takes new hires many months if not longer to become productive in a new game environment. You can't hire some one today to fix technical problems the current staff cannot easily locate and resolve. You'd have to hire new people, train them up to do easy stuff, move the people on the easy stuff to the harder stuff, move the people on the harder stuff to the even harder stuff, divert the people on the even harder stuff to the unresolveable problem, then wait a few months until they come up to speed on it. And while you are doing this, the problem might get solved because of circumstantial changes, and then all that shuffling just cost you time and money, and now you have a bunch of people who have nothing to do. Unless you want to divert them to the next unresolved problem and macarena the entire staff again. Fact is, everyone here who has an actual job works for a company that could hire more people to serve their customers better, and the question "well, why not then" is fundamentally an unanswerable question. Couple things 1- why no rank down specific tickets? 2- has this seriously and actively been worked on weekly since being reported (the start of this game) 3- there are a multitude of bugs this game has which is why Mike had to make the comment he did in the first place, clearly they need more people even if it takes months to train them 1. Because bugs don't warrant rank down tickets. 2. Probably not. Nor can it be. 3. As I said, you can say this about every company. Every company can hire more people to improve their service to customers. Which company offers such good service that their customers deserve no more? Yours? 1- this champion is not working as intended, Kabam has admitted they will issue rdts in cases like this. Plus this is just customer service at its core. They can just issue character specific ones as a gesture 2- so just sweep the issue under the rug? Or change the mechanics of the character so those resource don’t go to waste 3- not every company continuously ignores their customers. When a large population of customers are complaining then maybe they need to shift their focus or hire more people. It may seem like not many people are complaining but that’s due to the amount of discussions and comment that are being deleted instead of being resolved 1. Kabam has never said that. Kabam said that while they were issuing RDTs in 12.0 because that was a unique extraordinary case involving champions being changed in significant ways, they would *not* issue RDTs in general when things changed and if they ever did again it would be in a different form. Players somehow mutated that statement to misquote Kabam as saying they would only issue RDTs when champions were significantly changed, and then that Kabam would issue RDTs when champions were changed. But Kabam has never said that: in fact they've only stated the opposite: that in general RDTs would not be issued outside of unusual circumstances and not in the same form as in 12.0 in any case. 2. Don't ask questions you don't want answers to. I'm only addressing the facts, it is not my place to defend every action that Kabam takes. In fact, most of the time I'm objecting to actions Kabam takes. But no amount of disagreement with Kabam will cause me to contradict the facts. 3. Kabam doesn't continuously ignore customers. Kabam, like all companies, doesn't always do what a small percentage of their customers demand. Try getting fifty people to complain on a McDonalds forum that they should start selling pizzas. In terms of bidirectional communication with their customers, as a game company Kabam is below average in that regard. I've stated that more than once. But in terms of Kabam producing a product that their customers want to play overall, Kabam is at least average in that regard among game companies. Anyone who thinks Kabam is exceptionally bad, or even slightly below average in this regard, simply hasn't played enough massively multiplayer games.

Yet, much like CM, they fail to work with their customer base to find an amicable resolution. I honestly don't care if it doesn't work anymore. But give us back the units, willpower nerf, suicides with willpower nerf, both scenarios got units and 5* shards respectively (even do a certain person who works for kabaam said they felt the people who had suicides didn't need to be compesated) and now we are sitting on a useless mastery, along with pierce because that also got obliterated, since armor works so different. Why won't our units be returned? Do you know how hard it was to save 4,650 units, with a full time job? I refuse to invest in any other mastery, I and many others are owed restitution for this obscene slight and disrespect. That’s how they deal with everything. “Shut up and just spend money you dirty salves!!! We’ll do what we want it’s our game.”

Tier 5 put us at Challenger with a 4.0 multiplier. The upgrade downgraded us to hard at 3.4. I call bs on what we were lead to believe as the actual update based our placement on war rating only and disregarded the tier. If we were good enough to be in tier 5 before the update it would certainly have been nice to know that the war ratings and the tier placement after the upgrade was only based on rating. What this means is you (kabam) changed the sliding scale on what a rating = tier means- you changed the dynamic and did not inform us the rating scale for tier placement was also changing- Bad form Kabam! Also, the update changes all history data for previous wars- Tier 8 did not give 5star shards- Lame -as now all data is skewed. Regards, Backtothegrind
