No, as they showed with the compensation situation for the 7-star crystal bug exploit, you will be compensated for exploiting the game. So from now on, if they don’t want to fall into their own trap, we will all have the right to abuse the game’s bugs. (In fact, we should even be rewarded for it).

You really need to weigh the possibilities. On one hand we could all put purgatory in our bgs decks, aw attack, and receive massive comp and a pat on the back for doing so. On the other hand we could all do the right thing and then get our groins knuckle dusted by kabam for being good or not being able to get a competitive advantage fast enough

I think it's safe to assume they will 100% ban players for exploiting this 😂. You can clear any content in 1 sp3. Either that or they'll get double purgatory as comp.

Now i am unsure to finish the quest, because i don't want to get banned.

Knowingly exploiting a bug to gain an advantage can result in a ban. I'm honestly shocked they haven't rushed to fix her yet.

the 7 star crystal bug is way worse than any content rewards that can be gained right now so how would it be fair to ban players for the purg exploit? Give me free 50-100 7 star crystals all day for the new champs recently released in the basic over any crappy lagging behind content rewards

Because there is a significant difference between knowingly exploiting a significant bug to gain an advantage and knowingly opening bugged crystals in hopes that you might get something for it.

Well - there used a be a blanket don’t exploit mandate …. But thanks to Kabam that this has to be nuanced just shows the colossal failure their decision last week was….

in any case - it’s clear we are just along for the ride while Kabam continues to put out mistake after mistake with periodic “we are learning, it will get better” assurances. Nothing has changed - from communication to bugs to lack of quality control. Same old, same old

There wasn’t any exploit. Kabam doesn’t give compensation for exploiting bugs. Do you think players who opened the bugged crystal and lost their chance to get new champions should be banned?

you are just redefining the term. If (and we know it happened) people rushed to open crystals to get comp, that’s an exploit. Kabam just hammered down the fact that if banquet crystals are bugged, you should absolutely open them all immediately to get more rewards than if you wait for a fix. Intentionally doing that is exploiting the bug.

So now we have classes of exploits. The crystal fiasco shouldn’t be bannable, but it absolutely should have been made inconsequential. Instead, now we have a class of exploits that you absolutely want to exploit while dodging those that get you banned.

What a game…amirite?

I would like to get compensated for this exploit. I wanted to enjoy the content with competitively fighting but those fights ended so easily with just 1 sp3. I am so pissed :(

there isn’t any content rewards nearly as valuable as what many high end players ended up scamming kabam on 7 star crystals. The free prestige bump that was given is outrageous and we got employees openly threatening bans on there live streams for exploiting a nothing burger purgatory bug. Like screw off who do you guys think you are.
