Who to choose from the anniversary calender?

I currently have 12 7* champions, some of which have been great pulls. Others not so much.
I'm saving crystals for Christmas day (no particular reason, I just choose to) and I will have another 4 guaranteed and 13 small chances in various other crystals.

I'm wondering who would be best to go for from the anniversary selector?
I'm guessing everyone has the same choices but just incase my choices are Deadpool x force, Medusa, Sentinel, Black Panther civil war, Sentry, Purgatory or a nexus crystal.
I'm leaning towards DPX just because I don't have any mutant currently or the nexus.

Progression is 7.1.6 so Paragon.
I don't need defenders as I don't do BG or war.

Are there any fights in the rest of act 7, 8 or 9 that I might need a specific champion to get passed that I could get in this selector?

DPX is a great choice, I haven’t used his 7 star but his 6 star carried me through so much content when I started my account a few months ago. Which I was surprised at because before I took a break he was the last thing I’d want to see in a crystal 🤣

Deadpool is a great safe choice and no awakening needed. Medusa is probably the best choice but you’d definitely want to get her awakened to get the most from her. Btw you’ve had ridiculous luck with your 7*

I would go with DPX hes a great nuke and also would be nice to get a mutant in your 7* roster

Medusa is the best of the bunch (she’s amazing against robots and really did work in the stories for me (albeit a 5* one at the time).

That being said, Deadpool is probably better for you like others have said - will give you a mutant. He doesn’t need to be duped as much as Medusa, etc.

Sentinel unduped is better than Medusa. Medusa doesn't work against sentinel as he's armour break immune.

Medusa does work against Sentinel, because he is not armor shatter immune. Just got a throw an SP3.

Is Sentry worth it? I haven’t done Epoch. I have watched YouTube videos about him against Adam Warlock in path 3. I also watched Metal Sonic YouTuber video where he played Sentry in Necropolis. I have Sentinel unduped. I read that he needs to be duped in order to be good for defense. I like Medusa but she needs to be duped. I don’t know who to choose. I need a good advice.

He is essentially the cheese option for tech/science and also a very good Necro champ. If you have done the Necro challenge that he works for either, then he is absolutely worth getting.

@Kabam (Osaurus) Rex it has been long enough. Can we get rid of this guy on the forums? He harasses people constantly, tags people in his useless posts so they get bombarded with notifications and is unhelpful in every single comment he makes. He is a blight on these forums. If you play poorly, sure. I've seen plenty of players take Sentinel with her in war and make it out just fine.

I'm in no way saying she's the top counter for Sentinel, especially in comparison to every other robot, but to say she doesn't work is sharing incorrect information.

I have a duped Photon at rank 3 and I’m going to rank her up to rank 4 and when I have a Sentry I’ll rank him to rank 3. For tech champion I have Omega Sentinel unduped. You are very kind. OP, DPX would probably be the best addition to your current roster. He literally works against any champ in the game because of his unique debuff.

Only time I ever know he's made comment is when I see "content from ignored user" or when someone else quotes him their own comment.

Sentinel is better for your level compared to deadpool.he is a mutant hunting monster in quests, dpx is barely useful for solo quests he is bg focussed. Won't go wrong with medusa as well.

Sentinel and Purgatory are both great dual threats. I have both at r4 and they put in a lot of work.

As you can see everyone has differing opinions. The only thing I would like to add is that don’t go for sentry. Just go for someone else. Medusa, sentinel, dpx are all good.
