Twitch Drops

I am trying to be patient and hopefully a moderator can help me since support isn’t helping me.

I have my account and twitch connected. Linked and verified. I haven’t gotten any rewards from the Twitch Drops. The same thing happened during the Summoners Fest. When I reached out to support they said my account is connected to multiple accounts. I have only one. I even showed them with a screenshot of my account. How is that even possible? I’ve lost out on so many good rewards and basically wasted my time watching streams to get nothing in return. Can I please get help.

Is it even possible to link Twitch to multiple Kabam IDs like support is saying? I don’t think so. There are loads of rewards over Twitch and that’s the only way Thor Ragnarok rework will be available next year, so Kabam ought to fix this. Surely this isn’t an isolated incident.

Shadow, when you said “I have only one”, did you mean only one Twitch account, or only one MCOC Game account ?

don't know if when linking Twitch with MCOC, whether that is a 2-way verified connection, or if (like your screenshots of Kabam settings) the Kabam settings only allow you to have one linked Twitch account but it may not ping back from Twitch that THAT one is the ONLY Kabam account that has been linked to Twitch (1-way connected only) ?

And if you think you only have 1 Game account, maybe the Twitch was linked to some “new” Kabam account that you were trying to attach to your main account but it accidentally created a 2nd Kabam account (from the beginning) and that is what is ALSO linked to your Twitch.

(Like how people trying to attach their Apple/Google GameCenter login into MCOC to a newly created Kabam ID for their existing game account, but it is not done right and so creates a new game account instead) ??

I have only one Twitch account and one account. It’s been the same mcoc account for over 10yrs. I don’t understand how I would have multiple accounts when I’ve never made another one.

Yes, I have my twitch connected to two Kabam accounts. But only one receives twitch rewards.

ask Kabam support to “unlink” that other MCOC game account from being linked to your Twitch account.

might see if they will actually tell you the game name of that supposed other account too.

it’s funny you say that. I unliked during the summoners fest and reached out to support because the timer for being able to re link it would expire after being able to claim the rewards. So they removed the restriction. I re linked it and I still can’t get my rewards.

have you actually "claimed" them on twitch? i had to claim them and then they were sent to my game. until i actually claimed them they were just sitting there waiting

yes I have claimed them on Twitch. Nothing has hit my account when I open the game.

did YOU (yourself) unlink it before, or did you get support to do that before ?

And if it was you, HOW did you do that if you don't have access to whatever “other” account it was that had it linked.

Just unlinking from your main game account would not work, it's the “other” account that you need to get it unlinked from.

So I had my account connected. When I went to receive rewards it was saying “connection required” I wasn’t getting rewards to my account prior to the Summoners Fest. I was like okay let me disconnect my account and try to reconnect it. When I went to try and reconnect it it said I had to wait X amount of days. At this point this was during the Summoners Fest and would have lost out on the rewards due to them expiring. I reached out to support and they REMOVED the restriction. I then reconnected my accounts back together. Now I’m here without rewards.

But still trying to clarify.

Is there a way in Twitch itself where you can manage connections ?
or is it only within your Kabam account settings where you manage it.

and if so (the later, Kabam setup), that's where I was saying you would have to disconnect your Twitch from WITHIN THAT OTHER KABAM ACCOUNT. (which I assume you still don't know what that other Kabam account would even be since you say you never created a 2nd Kabam account).

Worst case might be that someone else mistakenly entered your Twitch account name when they were trying to connect their own Kabam account to Twitch. (if that is even possible, without it needing to do some type of 2-factor verification from your Twitch account before some Kabam account successfully links them ??)

(I’ll plead ignorance on this though, because I have never done it, and don't use Twitch). So I don't know whether connections can be managed from both ends of the link (whether you could do it from within EITHER Twitch or Kabam account settings). Or if the link is ONLY manageable from the Kabam side setup.

I did what we were suppose to do and go onto the kid kabam link to connect your twitch you use to connect your kabam account to. I did the steps I was suppose to but there must be something wrong on Kabams end since I’m not getting the rewards I’m suppose.
