I’ve been stung by this as well, but it could be worse end up pulling the same champ three times if it was a crystal system.

More people have a better chance at a good pull with the box system.

3 gods? Come on man, Hulkling is overrated(he's good but not a god). Nimrod, eh I don't think he's better then Baston or Jack. I'll agree with you scorpion is top notch, he's up there but none of these champs are need to get them, pretty middle of the road champs compared to modern heavy hitters.

This right here is everything wrong with Tier lists (and I say that as someone who actively uses them to guide my rankups). You're left with a feeling that if a champion isn't top tier, then they're trash, which leaves the bulk of the champions in the game classed as "useless"

Well that's because 2 of the champs are actually trash. Dont need a tier list to see that. We knew they weren't good from the moment the buffs went live and we played with them as 6*s

People are getting too paranoid about missing out on Scorpion & Hulkling & Nimrod.

They're good champs, but if you don't get them, you can easily rank up (if you haven't already) and use similarly strong champs.

People acting like they're missing out on Dark Phoenix and Torch is crazy to me.

Like I pulled Scorpion & Hulkling, but I'm not ranking them up.

I already have 7 awesome R4 science champs, so Scorpion won't be making it to my BG deck.

I do need another R4 cosmic, but I am leaning toward ranking up Cull or Hyperion instead of Hulkling, and I definitely don't need or have room for all of them in my deck.

yeah I completely agree,..it’s being WAY overblown.

I pulled Scorpion on my first and only key and whatever 🤷‍♂️,.,.i finally duped my R3 spider woman out of a nexus and sunk all the science sig stones i’ve been saving up and it’s hands down my next Science rank up,..and i think I’d probably go Nefaria before Scorpion for my next…considering SW does much of what Scorp does except better.

I see what you are saying and I get it. And I was one that got who I wanted, but I think the frustration is that people who spend a lot of units don’t want trash. And thanks to Kabam’s lock/key defender model …. A lot of champs go to the instant “never rank” bin because there is no other consistent content in the game where they could ever matter. It becomes you either like the champ or there are a bunch of other options to do the same thing.

All of this would be a lot less if so many defenders didn’t have a very small bucket of counters in the BG world.

Exactly, Nimrod and Jane Foster would be much more likely to make my BG deck than Hulkling or Scorpion. There are much better cosmic attackers than Hulkling and too many counters to him. Same with Scorpion. He's a trash defender, and slow attacker without his synergies. Nimrod nukes most mutants and stalls attackers as a defender, and Jane foster is incredibly underrated as an attacker .
