Thank You Kabam - Realm Event

Since many of us come on here to vent or to complain when Kabam falls short on an event or a giveaway, myself included, I just wanted to take a moment to thank the guys at Kabam stepping up and making the banquet realm upgrades.

Yes, I know it is in their best interest to keep upping the prizes since that will hopefully keep people buying crystals, but the fact is they did not have to do that and I am really improving my champion roster with what they are adding to the event.

So thank you guys, and Merry Christmas!

I agree. I also think milestone 34 or 35 needs to be something extra juicy like the deathless selector in order to get the community to empty their walle- i mean rally together for a shared goal

Realm Event is great and love the extra milestones, if I may have one request it would be more tier 4 alpha and less tier 7 basic. We can get the tier 7 basic easily from the Jubilants and I need more tier 4 alpha for my rank ups. However the rewards are great regardless, keep it up Kabam!

definitely keeps it interesting…. Otherwise most would just punt knowing they were never going to be up there in the meaningful ranks.

the last round of stretch milestones look good IMO… still would like to see a generic AG soon.

Agreed. It has been a great show so far and by adding those nice milestones they have kept it alive. At the same time summoners are pushing it further.
And the way it is going on , it might surpass everyone’s expectations. So I guess it is high time for Kabam to come up with a surprise. Adding some milestones for solo and alliance events as well can be an option …. just a thought ..

I love how close the new milestones are to each other as well, it means we’re getting loads of extra stuff fairly consistently. Fingers crossed for a rare champ selector before the event is over 🤞

A generic awakening would definitely get me to spend a few more $$/units to get there, as I haven't quite spent/opened enough crystals to hit those final stretch goals but absolutely would if they added a generic gem on top of that.

Rare champ selector makes the most sense since the year didnt even end for them to give out the HOF champs, may as well have the older champs like RG, Torch available as well via selector

Higher milestones should be rare selector or something really different to acquire. Rank up material is not gonna do anything much. We already got decent amounts from other milestones. Kabam is giving again tier 7 catalyst at higher milestones with jubilan crystal. That crystal is not working in my favour, always 7 star nexus or stones both of them are not beneficial for me. If I see any rare selector other than rank up materials or jubilian crystal, definitely I want to spend more units to reach that milestones.

Yes higher milestone need champ selector from all champs available in jubilant crystal (excluding Punisher)

Oh yes, thanks kabam for making more milestones for whales, so the small spenders or the f2p players gets lower and lower day by day on the chance to finish with a decent milestone reward at the end. Same applies for BGs where Bero had 840 pts so some smaller ppl between 100 and 200 dropped a whole Category.

That would definitely make me buy another webstore offer, and play more arena if there would be another champion selector in the milestones.

The T7B are very nice, but have a total of 12, with only 2 T4Alpha, which renders me unable to use the T7B. Haha!

It's perfectly possible to enjoy this event as a f2p or low spender. I spent nothing on the game during the first half of the year and only bought the occasional "get 20 units per day" monthly deal and the "get units each time you reach a new level from 61-70" deal during the second half. Beyond that, I've just been very frugal with my units throughout the year and saved up everything I could with the express purpose of using them all during the Banquet. I managed to save up about 20K units, all of which are now spent. What that means is that my Realm score and the currently-last milestone (the two Jubilants at #33) finally pretty much add up. If they add one more milestone, I can probably reach it but otherwise I'm pretty much tapped out here.

These extra milestones don't in any way just benefit the whales. I haven't bought a single unit/offer during this sale. You got to dedicate a lot of time to it, but I've been surprised by how many units I managed to save up during the year since I hate Arena and haven't grinded it as much as I have in past years. I thought that would really impact how many units I ended up with at the end of the year, but instead I ended up with more units than I ever have in previous years. Just completing the daily super event and the daily quest every day gives you 45 units/day, which really adds up over the course of a year.

You just got to decide where to spend it. In my case, I consciously didn't spend many units on offers during the other sales throughout the year, expressly so that I could save up a nice nest egg for the Banquet.
